My son bought me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it . It was a nice building experience and looks great on display. I had the 855 technic crane when I was 10 in 1980 this new set made me feel like I did back then very happy 😊

Quick but not too quick. This set was fun to build, and functional to boot. The crane swivels, extends, drops the anchor hook, had extendable support legs... it's like it's smaller counterpart only bigger and better. At roughly $.09/piece it's a REALLY great value for the money. Plus it goes well with the excavator set released in June 2024, and looks like there is at least one more set in the lineup coming Jan 2025. I very highly recommend this one.

I almost didn't buy this one because it seemed a bit expensive for a construction crane, but I am so glad I changed my mind. The crane is huge, functions perfectly, and comes with a charming, yes charming, port-a-potty. Operating the crane is super fun too, even for adults. This is an exemplary set for the City theme.

This set would’ve been a 5/5 stud review but during the build process, it’s already had 2 pieces missing in different bag numbers. I’ve recently been having to request pieces in other Lego sets, like the Porsche 911. Lego needs to focus on quality control.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego is always the favorite toy of all times , this time i have the opportunity to share one of the most iconic vehicle lego 60409 construction cranes it was my favorite build , it comes with a very detail instruction , with multiple pictures and diagrams it is recommended for the age of 9plus very safe to used and the most fan was the mechanical function to lift and move the crane its a 100 plus collectible toy

I really like this build. The way the crane arm extends is really simple and effective. The way the operator cockpit rotates is also really well done. The transformation between a stationary and mobile mode is really well done. My only issue is the minifigs, they dont look like construction workers because they don`t have human proportions, and at this point all they are doing is driving up the cost of the set. Overall though I`m pretty happy with what I got.

Assembly is awhile and it's important to be the correct age or the younger ones will get frustrated. This toy provides hours of endless entertainment. Legos are interchangeable and beyond durable they last forever.

He laughed that it even had a porta potty. It took him a while to put it it together but we are very happy with this set.

Had it not been for that, I don't think I would have ever put a Lego Build together in my life. I have built your basic tower but never thought about an actual project. Let me tell you, do it! You will have so much fun. It's challenging, calming, fun and motivating. It brought our family together to sit and do something we all enjoyed. There are 1160 pieces in this one and they are in numbered bags to help guide you. There is also a book to help show you how to build your Lego Design. My son loves construction vehicles so doing the crane was perfect. We are having a blast and building our crane while spending time together. I may have found my new relaxing hobby.

I love all of the play features. The boom, outriggers and winch are all well designed and sturdy. The entire set is beautiful and fits with my other construction vehicles quite well
