I have been watching video reviews of HP when I have been building my HP sets as of late. I disagree with one of the video reviews that did not like the color of this forbidden forest, I love it! Very reminiscent of the first 3 HP movies. I like that you can change the configuration of the forest itself. The inclusion of Buckbeak (even tho he is not an exact adaptation of him, you get the gist of who he is), Thestral along with a Cornish Pixie (I wish there was more than just one of these given the price of this set) Nice touch that there is glow in the dark pieces. i will probably remember something else once I have submitted this review, so LEGO PLEASE NOTE the option to edit reviews for customers, would be greatly appreciated.

Nice little set, I like the glow in dark bricks and I was hoping the set contained a few more pieces than it did. This set can also be used along side 30677 - Draco in the forbidden forest to make it larger. Price point felt a little high compared to ther sets with the same peice count.

My five year old nephew finished this in about 30 minutes. It is a nice looking set and I like all the characters in it etc. but it is small and super quick and easy to build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a really nice and versatile set! I love little creatures that come with it, Buckbeak, baby Thestral, and Pixie are adorable. Spider, mushrooms, and Ron's lantern are glow in the dark, which is a really nice touch. It also has an easter egg- chicken leg that we could see in the movie in the scene of Harry and Luna feeding Thestrals. You can use this set on its own or connect to other lego set's like one I have with Aragog, I think there is also a small polybag that you can connect to it. I recommend this set to all of Harry Potter and Lego fans. If you never got any set before, it's a nice start without spending too much money or need of too much space. If you have other sets, this one makes a great background/ side bulid to make your display a little bit more interesting. And if you are getting it for your kid, I'm sure it's going to love to play with all minifigure and creatures! Quality of pieces, attention to details and packaging is top-notch like in other LEGO products.

It comes with two characters (Ron and Hermione) and a few magical creatures and it glows in the dark! I am sad it doesn’t include Harry because his picture is on the box and is a part of the crew as well but hey! This is so dope and will remain on display. The characters have wands and lamps and they can fit on the Hippogryph magical creature. I waited for this product since March and I am so glad it came. My favorite lego set.

As a HP Lego-Builder and Magizoologist, I had to get my paws on this set! What drew me to it was the original colours used to build the environment, and the new tree-building techniques displayed here. I always like to learn new ways of putting things together and creative use of unexpected bricks, and this set didn't let me down. The variety of animals (I'd have loved to have two or three pixies rather than just one - they do live in groups) and the glow-in-the-dark mushroom caps and spider were a superb addition. Also, having a set where the minifigures do not include Harry was a nice change. The way the set is modular means that one can build more than the set and add to it. Using the clip-and-handle hinge system is really nice, because it allows us to orientate the whole forest as we like. On the whole, a really nice set, to be recommended.
