Recreate your favorite Harry Potter scene with the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall. Featuring 878 LEGO pieces, you kids will love building this 4 level LEGO Hogwarts castle. It features tables, a fireplace, benches, reversible house banners, treasure room, potions room as well as the sorting hat. The LEGO Harry Potter playset also includes 10 minifigures including Hedwig and Scabbers. Playtime has never been this exciting!
The windows and table layout make the Great Hall's interior look awesome. There should be more food on the table to imitate the banquet scene. Good that they have 3 chairs to accommodate all 3 teachers included. The idea of including the Basilisk but not the Chamber of Secret is weirdd. If Lego wants to incorporate first 2 movies into one set, they should include Ginny Weasley instead of Susan Bones. Otherwise, the selection of minifigures is good. I love the idea of combining the new Hogwarts sets as one. However, I would do some interior modification myself to make it a more pleasing set.
This Lego set was so much fun to build! I really enjoyed all the details, and that it came with 10 minfigures! I played with it all day after I finished building it. I would recommend that Harry Potter fans buy this set!
Unfortunately, this set did not live up to my expectations. The exterior looks clunky and the interior is sparsely decorated and uninteresting. I am a big fan of Lego HP, but as far as the new 2018-2020 waves go, this is not one of the best. I simply do not understand the choice to put generic storage rooms/classrooms in the main tower. The tables in the main room are cramped and there is little access to light in the hall. The mini figures are excellent of course, and I commend lego for including so many in this set, but the build just left me depressed.
I love this Harry Potter series, have the Great Hall, Womping Willows and Clock Tower and their quite impressive when you put them all together. Overall it is a fun and like able build with not to many large pieces making it also somewhat challenging. It would be a five star review but for ONE super annoying thing that would seem so EASY to get right. THE STICKERS BACKGROUND ARE NOT THE SAME COLOR AS THE LEGO. First of all, I’m not a fan of the stickers and prefer them printed on the LEGO piece. But come on, at least get the color nuances right so that it has a chance to blend in when on the piece. Now you clearly see it’s a stickers and it looks bad. Sorry LEGO, but please Try to improve on this! Hoping for more great HP sets in the future.
Our Harry Potter loving son (10 yr old) absolutely loved putting this together! The details of it are amazing! He did it in less than 2 days and probably the first Lego set I've seen how his attention in order for him to complete it that quickly!
