This set looks amazing! I am not done building it as of this review, none the less, the torso and left leg look amazing and the color of the parts are shiny, clean, and true to actual suit in the movie. I only have one flat gold plate piece that was apparently partly covered by another when they were painted but oh well, you will have that on these big jobs haha. I am enjoying every minute I am able to work on it. Thank you to the lego engineer for this wonderful product!

This set was extremely fun to put together, even though some people had bad reviews I got it and built it with the Hogwarts Castle, Loop coaster, Eiffel Tower, Titanic (I waited to build them), Colosseum, Lion Knight castle, Barad-dur, Rivendell, and hogwarts express.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall set is good. It’s very accurate to the film. Getting the iron man figure separately can be a challenge at this point. Also, putting him into the armor itself is a hassle. The reduced price is needed.

This is an amazing build specifically for those that are very big Marvel or specifically Iron Man fans. It was a very fun and complicated build, but the end result was very much worth it. However, if the intended builder is not an Iron Man or Marvel fan, this build is not for you. I do not believe the price tag is worth it for anyone other than those that enjoy looking at this VERY large set.

If you want a display piece that you can't touch or move this is for you . Other wise avoid this one. It doesn't stay together and everytime i have to move many of the parts just fall off . Looks cool but not functional. Just put it in a case and leave itbe.

Not a big fan of the Hulkbuster, I picked this set up on sale from the website and am I ever glad I did !! It's an absolute BEAUTY. It fit together beautifully, but of course, and is an excellent display piece - it still sits on My build table, I am SO impressed with the end result. Grab this beauty before its gone !!

I bought this set at my local Lego store in South Florida. I have been building sets for 15 years, off and on. This one was the second time I considered throwing the set away. The first time was the Saturn 5 set, which I gave away. Yes, the rumours are true, pieces aren't tightly fitted and will fall off. Yes, the legs and chest are the biggest areas of delicacy and frustration. Yes, the set is too fragile to play with. I had to use...glue. GLUUUUE! Otherwise, I would still be putting pieces on. I would appreciate it if Lego gave me at least 1,000 VIP points in return for my disappointing experience. I had to use glue, y'all.

I really enjoyed the build until I got to the legs. Putting them on the body required Lots of finesse! Pieces kept falling off as I tried to get them on. When I finally succeeded this thing was huge! It didn't last long when a leg came off and bounced off the build table. Pieces went everywhere! I ended up putting it away and got something else out. GOOD LUCK building it!

Super fragile. Can not even be moved without parts falling off! Super cool though! But, in hindsight, it should've been glued as assembled.

Originally, I had not planned on buying this set due to very negative reviews. However, with the MOC from Ransom_Fern on Rebrickable, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had building! The challenge of putting everything together with all the pieces poured out together was extremely gratifying.

As a huge Ironman/Marvel fan I was skeptical of this build because the reviews were pretty blah. I finally bit the bullet and I am so glad I did. Some really cool build techniques and an absolutely massive display piece that is true to the movie.
