I think they did a really good job capturing the idea of the bike from the film. I also found out by looking at the back of the box that the exhaust pipe can be used as a kickstand. I like the minifigures too and I like how every set in the season comes with the storm amulet.what I don't understand though is that the ninja don't have the right weapons for the season. overall a very good set and worth getting.

Very Solid Set with Excellent Minifigs

This is all and all a pretty fantastic set. It was great to build, fairly priced, displays excellently, can easily be used for play, and has an awesome minifig selection. First off, the overall look to the set is phenomenal. The sail really gives it a lot presence and separates it from other bikes by having an amazing vertical profile. The wheels and accompanying aesthetics also look great, with a minor con being that the cockpit looks a bit bare. The bike also looks significantly smaller and less complete without the sail so I always keep it on. The bike is clearly dedicated towards play and has a lot of excellent features for that too. The big wheels have lots of suspension and it's very satisfying to roll around. The detachable sail is good too and fun to fly around but as mentioned previously, it takes away from the visual appeal of the set when removed. The only real problem is the almost complete lack of balance which every review has mentioned. It is extremely difficult to get it to stand up right. If you want to display it, you will spend a good minute holding it upright, pressing keep in place, slowly letting go, and then waiting to see it it falls over (which it does 4/5 times). Then you'll repeat the process until it works. It stands just fine once you finally nail it after repeated attempts but it actually takes aways from the play experience because once you let go of the bike it immediately falls over and that's no fun. Finally, the minifigs are a massive pro. Island Lloyd looks amazing with the headband and jungle camo look. The exclusive Nya minifig might be even better looking as the teal coloring really pops agains the gray backdrop of her minifig. They look like guerrilla fighters and it's one of the coolest aesthetics I've ever seen the Ninja in. The Islander is alright, but he can't really compare to how good the Ninja look. And 3 minifigs in a set this small is an unexpected treat! Get this set if you just want a solid bike or even to get the minifigs, they are that good. Balancing is a noticeable issue but the pros severely outweigh the cons, especially if you favor displaying sets. And if you can get around the balancing issues, it's perfect for beginners and kids who just want an easy set to build and play with.

Good figures, but bike could've been better.

The figures are great. Glad to see 3 of them in a 20 dollar set. My only qualm with this build is that I cannot get this thing to stay balanced when I want to display it. It's kind of frustrating but it is absolutely worth the money even with that in mind.

Fun build in nice colors

This lego set was the first item that my son bought with his own savings and it hasn’t disappointed. A fun build, great new colors and it is his first motorbike. My son is 7 yo and it took him 1-2 hours to build and he did not need any help. The other reviews talks about a missing kickstand, however see the picture for my sons solution to this problem. He has had a lot of fun with it and it looks amazing. The difficulties with the motorbike is that the lack of balance makes it difficult to go play with (drive) without holding it. Also, the sail looks cool, but as it is made of paper I don’t think that it will last very long between our two boys that can be rough at times. I wish the sail would be made of plastic. Overall we really like the Ninjago island theme and hope to make more purchases. Edit: The picture did not upload, however he angled the golden exhauster on the sides of the bike and used them as kickstands.

I love this set! It is a pretty good value for your money and is cool looking. The play features are fun too, but it is almost exactly the legacy jungle raider. The bounce feater and the openable cockpit are in both. They look the same and even have the same little details. For example the little swords on the edges. There are a lot more but I won't mention them. Overall this is a great set, despite that.

Hello. I am a fairly experienced LEGO builder and a HUGE Ninjago fan. I bought this set, and it was actually better than I expected. The paper sail is cool, and Nya is exclusive. The tires are cool too. I really like the fact that the sail can actually detach from the bike and become its own flier! I personally like the bike better with the sail on, but it's cool without it too! The only issue is BALANCE. It has no kickstand, but it's not impossible to balance. It gets easier as you go. It is kind of hard to get it at first, but in the end, it becomes almost natural. I definitely would recommend this to a friend, because of its fine quality and cheap price. Good investment.

A good set with a big issue

The oversized bike trend is pretty prominent in Ninjago, and it is a bit repetitive. This one however, is a pretty good one. The design is unique for the setting and it is cool that the sail can detach from the bike and be it's own flyer. The bike even looks good, and arguably better, without the flyer on it. The flyer itself is a simple build, but it is good and the paper sail is cool. The minifigures are pretty good. Nya is a cool exclusive, and while the other figures aren't exclusive, it is the cheapest set they both appear in. The value is is pretty good. It is a good size for the price, and the sail doesn't detract from it. Despite all of that, there is one issue with the set that does hurt it: It has a weak balance. There isn't a kickstand on the set, and it makes it a bit of a challenge to make it stand up, so it falls over easily. Although it is possible to get it to stand, it is annoying when it falls. Overall, It's a good set, but it the balancing issue is rather annoying to deal with

Best Beefy Bike and Superb Sail

5 out of 5 stars

Likely the best Ninjago bike so far with working suspension and great figures. BUILD: It went together quickly, with some satisfying shaping and colors. PLAY: The bike is super playable, especially since the suspension on the back wheel works satisfyingly. The minifigs included are great, including Nya as the only set of the wave with her. Unfortunately (and this is something I've heard other people struggling with as well) the machetes fall out of Nya's lightsaber hilt very easily and sit quite loosely, so care must be taken when handling them. DISPLAY: The color scheme looks very cohesive in my opinion, and sits nicely next to the other NINJAGO Island sets. The biggest drawback is that it is difficult to get the bike to stay upright, as no kickstand or anything was included to help it stay vertical. The sail really makes this bike shine and make it one of the best NINJAGO bikes to date.

This is a great bike set for its value, exclusive Nya and one of the coolest Lloyd figures. My friend Esteban threw it down the stairs and it didn’t break.

Better than my expectations!

For the price, this is a pretty awesome bike! The design itself is quite pleasing on the eye, and looks both sleek and powerful. It easily fits two minifigs in it; one in the cockpit, and one on the back in the detachable flier! Although, you can easily clip maybe one or two more on the sides. The back wheels are also on rubber, allowing the whole bike to bump up and down if pushed down on, perfect for an off roading effect. Island Lloyd is an awesome fig, but this set also includes the exclusive Island Nya! My only complaint about this set, is I wish the bike had a foldout kickstand or something, as it tends to tip over easily.
