Great little build, and captures the Aston Martin’s look. Only problem I have, this is not James bond’s Aston. Other than changing the plates that’s the only gadget this car comes with. That’s poor in my opinion especially for my son to play with. So don’t buy if you expect gadgets..

Being a huge fan of James Bond, I couldn’t really pass up on this fantastic set. I did take my time over it, but this is because I wanted to savour every single second. I love that there is minimal exposed, brick studs and the inclusion of James Bond too. Although trivia, my only gripe would be the included Spanner accessory for James Bond.

If you like James Bond then the Aston Martin DB5 is an easy build. I was able to relax with the model after an hard day. The only improvement would be to have the number plates rotating instead of being on separate boards.

Love the theme, hope more of these types to come. Good details. I like the fact that some details are embossed rather than stickers, I just wonder why they didn't continue it throughout and do away with stickers, I guess for reusability. Personally I don't reuse the bricks, I'd accept losing stickers altogether. Satisfying build when it's complete, looks great on display too. Love to see more of these movie based cars in future.

I have been collecting various LEGO cars (Speed, Creator, etc) and I have to say of all the ones I've built, this is the only one I have felt the need to log in and review after building. That isn't to say I didn't enjoy building, playing with and displaying my other cars, but wow the design of this set really sets it apart from the other LEGO cars I've built. This one feels most like a model car and the building experience felt unique and fun. I loved the little details from the tail lights to the multiple license plates (for stealth). I love that the driver's seat is on the UK side of the car. While some of the LEGO cars have been more fragile and required rebuilding after play this Aston Martin is sturdy and fun. And she comes with 007. Need I say more?

This set was a fun building experience with interesting building techniques that I have not seen in a set of this scale before. The James Bond Minifigure is excellent and accurately represents the Daniel Craig version of the character. I don't ever enjoy the stickers, but I can deal with normal sized stickers. However, some of the stickers in this set were extremely small and I unfortunately destroyed one. Eh, whatever. The amount of detail packed in such a small car is honestly insane to me. Also, they finally did 4 seats in total! Probably one of my favorite sets ever and I haven't even seen all of the James Bond movies.

This was my first Speed Champions build. As a 007 fan who has seen each film at least three times, by the time I was finished building, it instantly became one of my top five sets! Firstly, the price is perfect for what you’re getting, like an exclusive Daniel Craig James Bond minifigure with all his facial features, plenty of printed pieces (even 1x1 flat plates), and shiny silver pieces of various sizes! Although there aren’t any play features to replicate the iconic Bond car’s gadgets, there are hidden Easter eggs like a lever to the right of Bond’s car seat to launch his nemesis out from the roof, the operation panel in the center console, hidden oil slick jets underneath the back of the car, and front/back license plates when you want to swap out for travel to England, France or Switzerland like in the film ‘Goldfinger’! There are stickers of course, to add some detail, so be patient and take your time applying them. If you choose not to apply the stickers of the other license plates, you have extra silver plates as well! This is a solid and wonderful build that any 007 fan would enjoy! I hope Lego makes more 007 cars!

This is an excellent set. I received it as a Christmas present and as a lifelong Lego and Bond fan it was the perfect gift. It was a fun build and contained a nice variety of bricks, some I hadn’t encountered before. The fact that it even included a minifigure made it all the better. The only issue I had was that there was quite a lot of pieces that required stickers. I fumble too much to get the stickers tidy so I don’t much enjoy putting the stickers on, unfortunately I think they’re quite essential as they were logo pieces and iconic Bond license plate numbers. However some bricks were printed which I was pleased with. A good amount of spares for the smaller parts and the fact there was a spare of the piece holding on the exhaust pipes was I think a deliberate little extra, when you see the piece you’ll know what I mean ;) excellent little piece for the figure to hold. I might track down a black/brown hair piece for the figure for a classic Bond look! I recommend this set as it looks great and was a fun build.

Great little set, thought the instructions were a little confusing in places, resulting in a couple of re-builds, but I was more disappointed that 2 of the chrome pieces for the back bumper were missing, but I had 2 extra bodywork colour ones instead. have requested these from lego, so hopefully, it will be fixed soon. James is using his Gun to show you where....

I didn’t like that it had stickers but also printed pieces. The stickers ripped easily which have since been replaced. Not my favorite sipped champion but ok overall build. Will have to test durability of the headlight attachments.
