I’ve built seven Star Wars Lego helmets and this is the worst I’ve done. This build didn’t live up to the quality that I’m accustomed to with Lego. Pieces kept coming off and didn’t feel secure when attached. It looks amazing when complete but Lego can do better.

Spent hours building it just for it to come out disapointed even after following all instructions clearly, it has lots a gaps which make it look bad and most of the pieces arnt needed which looks the same after taken out, the size compared to the pictures on the instructions are not to par with the mast part being way smaller and being more compact making it bad but if you just want it to collect then go ahead

Don't let the pictures or negative reviews sway you. This is a bit challenging to build. It is fragile but worth your patience. I particularly loved building the mouthpiece.

I've done over 90% of the Star Wars builds with my son and this is my first review. My favorite part of the build is sorting..but my second is how well everything fits together. This did not have that feeling. I was constantly having pieces fall off as I was putting it together. The instructions don't feel detailed enough. After my son and I finished it, we put it on my desk. Pieces fell off as it was just sitting there. I took it apart and threw it in a ziploc. My youngest can try when he's a little older. I'm taking a nice long break from lego.

With the Helmet range first being released, I was abit like "Not bothered". But over a period of time the whole range grew on me on a artistic scale. Purchasing this one just highlighted my love for them. This one is amazing. How the red is enhanced by the all black brickwork. Well designed. And I hope this helmet range continues. I look forward to the 2 new ones that's coming out. I hope I will be fortunate to get one of each. Keep up the good work

Really enjoyed putting this model together. Love how the studs are in every direction. The downside to this model is how it attached to the stand. The helmet is quite unsecure from the base, it reallys on a 4x4 stud section. Unlike previous models. Again with these sets, I found that some smaller pieces have been used instead of a large piece, for example two 2x2 instead of one 2x4. So it didn't need to be as many pieces, but I guess it doesn't sound as good with less bricks.

This is my third helmet build. I started with Bob Fett and then moved on to the Mandalorian. This build was slightly more difficult due to the tilt features incorporated into the build. Fantastic features for accuracy, but it did cause some minor frustration incorporating pieces once on the stand. I quickly made the decision to remove from the stand to complete the build. And from there it was easy peasy, lemon squeezy. I definitely recommend this build to others and my advice would be this: attach to the stand to check placement, then remove to complete the build - definitely mitigates the frustration. I chose to return to the stand after each bag completed to check placement. Overall excellent. Onto my next build….
