The characters they keep coming up with in each series are great. Each of these are easy to assemble and fun to add to our existing sets. We have gotten a few duplicates, but I plan to see if anyone wants to trade.

I hate that they are in boxes now so we can't attempt to feel for the ones we are missing (lol). No but seriously, I keep getting the same packs and I'm starting to think they really limited certain packs to increase the amount you would need to purchase to complete the set. The amount of doubles/triples we have is ridiculous. We never had this issue before with these packs. Also, we kinda hated that they did a pack with Sumo Bro since he's already in an expansion set (Topple Tower). And of course that's the pack we have like 3 of... Ugh. Anyway yeah, it's a mystery pack so you get what you pay for but it just seems a bit more "rigged" this series. Could just be our bad luck though... Idk.

These fun packs add to my children's play with their Mario lego builds. I especially liked that these character packs are no longer only the bad characters but are just extra Mario characters. My 9 year old does the best with Mario sets but the 7 & almost 5 year old enjoy them too & they are well able to put these little sets together- sometimes needing just a little help.

Although I did not grow up with Mario, I can’t help but love the theme! These brick built characters are so cool! Each set comes with a 6 X 6 round Mario plate, a character build, an action tile, and a cool background build. I have only one complaint about this product. Most CMFs have plastic bags that are easy to feel through do you can get the character you want, but these come in a small cardboard box. I get that this helps save the environment, but including a plastic bag inside the box does not help as much as it could. When the paper bags come eventually come, I would like seeing those in these CMF boxes. The two figures I got, Spike and Birdo, are great interpretations of the in game characters, and I only have one thing to complain about for both of them! Spike looks mostly fine, but the grey on his plate is distracting from the quality of the other builds. I have replaced the grey jumper plates with red ones from a Minecraft set I had taken apart. Despite these problems, I would recommend picking up a few of these from either in stores or online.

Cute little character sets, perfect for adding to to a Mario lego collection. Unlike rest of Mario lego actually comes with traditional paper instructions too. Decent amount of bricks for the price. Only downside is blind bag, but no duplicates here.

Received the Spike character which, while not my first choice, turned out pretty great. The level of detail captured in around 50 bricks is pretty great. And really, the brick-to-dollar and play-to-dollar ratios of this set are incredible.

Since this is a blind box, it's a bit of a gamble which one you'll get, but in my opinion there's more good ones in the set than not. Just keep in mind the odds of getting g a double increase with each one you buy. I lucked out and got the one I wanted, Birdo, first try!

It is frustrating and disappointing for a child to not k is which character he is getting…..even worse when you receive the same character twice. Would love to get each character but to purchase a character at random is a waste of money. As a grandparent would love to help my grandchildren collect these but we don’t appreciate having to deal with the tears when they receive the same toy. Character. L The characters themselves are too rated but the method of purchase these toys at random is a waste of money.

These character packs are what started my kiddo on the Super Mario theme. Until then, he was kind of interested but not necessarily as interested as Minecraft. After buying one of the original sets, he was hooked and now we are on a mission to get them all. This collection is probably his favourite. He loves them all and has even been keeping any duplicates. He figures he can integrate them with the rest of the sets as extra characters. The Blooper is probably the cutest with the babies. And I love that these sets all come with build instructions so we aren't tied to the app especially because Lego time is meant to be away from screen time.

Love these mystery boxes. Obviously you can’t feel for which one you get, that’s the point. For the price they are a decent size. Fun and quick build. Great compatibility with the other Lego Mario sets. Should be a great hit when the The Super Mario Bros Movie releases too.

We were able to get 4 different characters that were randomly placed at the checkout by feeling for differences in weight and sound from shaking. My kids were looking for spike, sumo bro, and cat goomba and managed to get all three and Birdo.

These are sooo cute! I absolutely love the new series. We’ve been buying all Mario Lego sets for our son for more than a year now and we have so much now. They are time consuming and so many pieces, but that’s why I really like the tiny sets because my son can put them together by himself. I understand other reviews, that it’s hard to know what you’re getting. The bags are better, but that’s the point of collectibles. We go to different stores and never got duplicates not once, by luck at least
