I’m just getting back into the LEGO hobby and I had SUCH a great time building this John Deere tractor! I felt so happy when I finally put it all together and it took me a couple build sessions to complete it. I think it was the perfect challenge level for me. It was calming and satisfying. If you want an enjoyable but relatively quick build experience, this is the set for you! The Technic pieces were not too brutal on my fingers & nails. Also sticker placement was not a headache like it usually is (for me). Looks great on display and also has cool moveable features. I wish the "cart" portion had a rear door to store items securely, but this is a very small critique.

Review by my son (8): I would recommend this to a friend. This is an awesome Lego. First of all, it had no missing parts, secondly, I love how simple it is because it came with 390 pieces but had great features. My favorite function is the suspension and dumping mechanism on the trailer. All in all, this is a great Lego.

The tractor is very close to the real thing the dump trailer is nice and all but to make it better have 8 tires to make it a true 4 wheel drive and add a disc or a planter or any farm equipment to make it better

We're sorry your LEGO® set isn’t working as expected. From what you’ve described, a little rebuilding might be in order. You’ll want to make sure that each part is in the exact position shown in the instructions and that everything’s pressed together tightly (except the gears, which need some extra room to turn). It has a book the shows you how to build it , which makes it very easy and fast to build it . It’s a toy that a child can play for hours . The instructions are clear to the T and we never skipped a beat. Once we put the tractor and trailer together it was fun to play with and combine with our other lego sets. My boys love lego and I get more every chance I have.

Lego once again out did their self with this build kit. It is very realistic right down to the last piece! My son enjoyed putting it together I did help but I also just set back and watch him do almost all of the work. This is a wonderful collection to add to his Lego build sets. It was a challenge to build but the realistic movement and mechanisms that was put into this master work makes it worth having it! Way to go Legos!
