everything going good until I got the last few pages. I was missing nothing of the holes that go on top of the car and had to buy them. I just realized that I'm missing all the tires. I don't plan on buything them.

Nice build, but what's with the wheel axles?

This is quite a a straightforward and enjoyable build, but what's going on with the wheel axles? The nearside rear wheel has a grey axle whereas the other 3 wheels have brown axles. Is this deliberate? Both the instructions and the photos on the product page clearly show this. Some mistake on the design side?
1 reply from LEGO® Customer Service team - 9 days ago
The use of different colored axles was a deliberate choice. Sometimes it may help our fans to easily figure out at what stage of the build there're at. We're glad you had an overall good building experience with this set.

After spending all that time make this car, it was extremely worth it to see the finishing product. Currently looking for a display case for this and another car that I purchased.

The Lego senna looks great and looks very much like the real car. The building techniques used are really clever and easy to follow whiles still being great fun to build. Love the stearing colum that makes it much easier to stear the wheels compared to other Lego cars.

When I was building this Mclearn Senna GTR l learned that there is no tool that can help you remove a axles once you get them in there good luck. while building the wing after that the wing would not stay together and I had to glue it together l even look back and l didn't miss a step. This item is trash. DON'T BUY. 1/5

Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. If you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should, and aren't removing easily feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help! Gluing your bricks can make them change shape and we think it’s way more fun to be able to take your sets apart and rebuild them into something new!

Although the car isn’t as big as others might think, it is still great for the price. It’s easy to understand for beginners (like myself) and the colors and shape makes it very pretty. Overall great experience c:

I have built many lego cars recently and I have had a great time building. This gtr has pieces that were missing though. I couldn’t even build going into the second bag because of the pieces missing. For the price I spent I am very disappointed and I am now scared to buy again.

I think this McLaren, along with the Shelby Mustang & Porsche FXX models are a perfect size, features, and price point. Easy to put together in an hour and enjoy right away. Overall I hope LEGO continues w this scale and sits nice along the speed champions collection.

Son loves building Lego technics. Easy to follow instructions, but definitely for older children since it takes a few hours to build. Love how the door on the Mclaren actually opens.
