It’s super lightweight which is way more convenient and runs fantastic. It gets warm like any gaming laptop, but not super hot like ones I’ve had on the past. Overall I love it!

I've recommended it to my friends as well. The battery goes a bit fast but adjusting brightness and killing the keyboard effects help with that. I don't often play without it being plugged in so that's very minor for me. The price was great and the performance is wonderful.

It has a monster power supply and it needs it! CPU fan hardly runs even in my most complex games. The tools provided to access games and tweak performance settings are the best in the business. This was my first laptop geared toward gaming, and I understood some of the trade-offs compared to the Mac laptops I am accustomed to (battery life being the main one.) To make things simpler, I'll provide this in the typical Pros/Cons format: Pros: - Got a good deal on it (last of this version before new chips came out) - Quality display - Great included software (for once) to control basic features, for when we switch between gaming and educational tasks. I also appreciate the battery saving feature, to protect the battery, since this thing is almost always plugged in. - Good keyboard and trackpad Cons: - Lenovo's site isn't the easiest to navigate (not a con of the product) - Battery life - Would like a simpler method of turning off RGB lighting - iCue software is a resource hog (I removed it) - Fans run a lot during gaming (of course). I'd recommend investing in a cooling pad to help keep the unit running its best

To give a little background, I am a graphic designer, photographer, and 3D digital artist. I purchased this laptop as a backup and mobile alternative to my custom rig. POSITIVES: Great battery life and battery saving features Mux Switch Solid build Good, fairly bright and color accurate 16:10 screen Nice Lenovo keyboard shortcuts Powerful hardware Not too heavy Not much bloatware (unless you count Windows 11) NEGATIVES: The position of the trackpad which sometimes interfears with typing. The keyboard could be nicer. Screen (even with 500 nit peak) could be still a bit brighter outdoors. Build tolerence is very high but makes it extremely difficult to open to install anything. Windows 11 also really let's the hardware down with its bugs and slower interface.

They give you options to ensure that the laptop works longer than most with things like limited charging so your battery doesn't lose its charge over the course of its lifetime. Tested a lot of games as that was my main reason for buying it and they work great with the rtx 3070 running them. Great deal all around.

I study data science so I can install all the softwares without any issues. The screen is also beautiful. It also can live up during my class around +- 5-6 hours. So far so good.
