Will not hold a WiFi connection

I was so excited to get my first Smart TV. This TV will not hold a WiFi connection. Everytime I turn on my TV it says it's not connected. So I unplug, adjust settings, and have gone through a few other recommended steps I found online to assist. It will not stay connected. So frustrating. The picture is very clear and vibrant, but it will go blurry every five minutes or so, and stay blurry for 30 seconds. LG says its my internet connection, but I have over 330 mbps. How much more do I need?? Will likely return this TV. Very disappointing.

I get this as a Christmas from my sons and when I went to install it to my wall bracket it called for M4 bolts. After three trips to the hardware store I found out it takes M6 bolts. This is what keeping me from giving it a 5 star. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Horrible picture quality

Purchased this model as a Christmas gift after doing extensive research to compare brands. I’m very disappointed and will be returning the TV. Not easy considering it was a gift, but necessary to get a better product. The picture on the standard factory setting is very dark. If you set it to the vivid setting it is too light. I would not recommend this TV.

No Bluetooth Capabilty

When I purchased this tv I was told I could pair a headset with it and listen to it without disturbing anyone in the household. I purchase it along with some LG Bluetooth headphones so there wouldn’t be any issue with compatibility. There’s no function for Bluetooth headsets!!! I bought this tv and this headset for this very reason. Ridiculous.

We are sorry for the confusion. The 65UM6900PUA does not have bluetooth capability.

I had been looking for a 49”-50” 4 K smart TV since last spring. With all the choices and so many reviews that ranged from Great to Horrible for every brand out their my head was spinning. It was such an overwhelming decision I was paralyzed and just quit my search. I finally came to the conclusion that there are lovers and haters of every brand and model. It was down to a Samsung or an LG. I personally felt better about the reviews for the LG. Now let me clarify that a good number of the reviews left on every TV is they are not always reviewing that particular screen size, so they’re not really comparing apples to apples. The pros and cons aren’t the same when screen size is involved. So here are the pros: The set up was super easy and the picture was great right out of the box. Some have said that it was horrible and to get a good picture required a lengthy period of adjustment. Mine might need a little but I’m happy with what I have. The sound is good and very loud. Maybe it’s not theatre quality but it more than does the job. Other reviewers said that they couldn’t hear it. They must be deaf. My sofa is at least 14’ from the TV and if I were to turn it up halfway I would hear it throughout the entire two story house. Here are the cons: The operating platform doesn’t support all the streaming apps. Like Apple TV and AT&T Now. I’m sure there are some more but those were the two that I have and can’t use. Maybe down the road as they continue to upgrade the OS someday it might support those apps. So far that is my only complaint.

Weird vertical stripes at lower brightness

Got an amazing price at Target on a brand new 60" model, 60UM6900PUA, and really like the size and vivid colors. The issue however is that the screen has very obvious issue with vertical stripes in a few places at lower levels of solid patterns. It's noticeable in static scenes and you can see in the test photo attached. Overall good TV for $400

Yeah, this is by today's standards a "cheap" TV but the last LG TV I purchased was also a "cheap" TV compared to the latest and greatest out there. That last TV was a 42" and it has been running for 6 years from 7AM to about 10PM and the picture quality is the same as it was the day I bought it. I needed another TV for our bedroom and this was on sale so I picked it up. Picture is great, sound is great, was an easy set-up and somehow it knew my FIOS set-top box remote without having to set anything. WI-FI set up was easy with the initial walk-through set up screens. Using my Target Card got me a 5% discount and then the Black Friday pick-up in the store got me another 15% discount. $230 for a 49" TV like this? Fantastic deal and I would have gladly paid $270 as my other 42" LG (also purchased from Target years ago came in at $379 or something. ONE NOTE.... The photos on this TV tend to show the feet residing closer in than they actually are. The feet are righ tout my the edge so MAKE SURE you have enough space to sit this TV on whatever you are intending if you aren't going to hang it on the wall. You are going to need 41" of flat space for this to sit on leaving maybe 3/4" on each side so it won't fall off.
