Q: I noticed based on reviews many people bought this for their 3-4 year olds. Do you think this set is good for 6-8 year olds? Is it something they will play with for more than 1 year at this age?
A: Hello. The Li'l Woodzeez line is made for children 3 years plus. The majority of Li'l Woodzeez collectors are aged 6 years plus.

We are getting her this house for Christmas. I think it's probably more age appropriate for 6-9 year olds than for 3 year olds (although at 4 she did love them) :)

Q: how do the light come on and do they stay on?
A: It takes 3 AAA batteries. We haven't used it long enough to know how long the batteries will last.
submitted byLindsay - 8 years agoA: There is a single switch on the inside of the pink bay window. It is an on-off toggle switch (lights will not turn off automatically).

Q: Is this house compatible with the calico critters figures?
A: Yes, they are comparable and are about the same sizes. I prefer woodzeez to calico critters because they are much cheaper, but the attention to detail is incredible!

I prefer the Li'l Woodzeez furniture and accessories (for cuteness, quality, and price), but we like the Calico Critter animals better (notably higher quality and less portly, so they seem to fit the furniture better).

Q: Hello, I wish to gift this to my niece but it’s nit fitting in my checkin bag. How can i separate the 2 units? I can see a rod holding the two units together, is it possible to disassemble the rod and then assemble it back later? If yes, how can i do so?
A: Hi Aksh. The Hillside Cottage is not made to be separated and put back together. Taking it apart may damage the toy. The Battat Team

Q: I want to take this for my niece in a check-in bag. But it isn’t fitting in my bag, can you please share how I can separate the 2 units? I can see a rod joining the 2 units but not sure how to disassemble it.

Q: The lights used to work. We put in new batteries. Now they flicker for a split second and turn off. What can be done?
A: Hi Greentiger4. From what you have described it sounds like the batteries are not touching the coils/connections completely. Please open the battery compartment and ensure that everything is in tight. It is also possible that the batteries being used do not have enough voltage. We reccommend using Brand named batteries. The Battat Team
