Provides cheaper mounting material than shown, making instructions incorrect and more difficult to mount. Would recommend buying your own drywall mounting kit. Wire mounting equipment very cheap. Light is harsh and not ideal for a child’s bedroom.

this is adorable but I have bought two in under a year. the light burns out and is not repairable.

Cute design, but the moon shape implies that it would be a soft glow for nighttime. I had hoped to Mount this as a reading light for my 10 year old, but it’s a cold bright white light and hard to even look at, so it will be returned. Loved the idea of that touch button to turn it on and off though.

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing. Cute light, which is why it has two stars. The light is blinding bright and the light is not replaceable. If the bulb could be replaced, I’d give it 5 stars.

Like the surface of the sun, lol. We’d hoped to use this as a sconce for night-time diaper changes, but it was just too bright. Returned.

Based on the reviews and the price I was sure this lamp was going to be the solution I was looking for. There are no lights installed in any of the bedrooms of our rental. I needed an additional light for my kids' bedroom to plug to an outlet controlled by a wall switch on the doorway. Sadly this lamps resets to "off" when it looses power, and cannot be turn on and off with a switch. Otherwise I like the lamp and it would work great as a bedside lamp since it has a touch on/off button.

I purchased this to add light to a room, not as a nightlight per the manufacturer's intended purpose. It is a soft, medium warm light. I can back up the other reviews that state it is way too bright to be a nightlight, that is true and one could not sleep well with this on, but it would be great as a wind down light, when your child (or an adult if you if you are like me and love moon related things, it's still a nice grown up light!) needs to transition to wind down time rather than active daytime play. For an adult, adding it to a dark spot in a room or as an accent light, or your own wind down light (we all know we use too much light especially in our homes and on our screens that affect our sleep!) would be a great use of this item. It has holes for screws but I personally hung mine with the heavy duty command strips for up to 16 lbs. It is nowhere near a weight that necessitates such strips but I'm paranoid and have cats who tug on things, like cords down walls. It does come with 1 or 2 wall mounting cord clips for making the cord neat also.

Way too bright—blinding even! Cute design, poor light choice for “night light.” Headlight with high beams on is more like it. Sadly, returned as not feasible lighting.

This is a great product! Very well made, nice and bright! The gentle touch sensor button for the on/off is great for kids. The cord length allows for many placement options, we mounted it above the headboard so the cord is hidden and it works great for a room light. The box comes with supplies for hanging and different hanging options. Very easy to assemble. This is not necessarily a “night light” as it IS very bright but I was aware of that when purchasing and have been very satisfied with this product! It looks high quality and goes with my child’s space themed room. I definitely recommend!

The light is a little strong but my 5 year old loves it on and he sleeps just right ! And it’s definitely not cordless

this is so perfect for some extra light by my closet. i have been looking everywhere for a plug-in wall light that was inexpensive and not black, this is such a winner! i didn't care for the fake woodgrain so i painted it a better color for my room and added some stars! could be a fun diy as well.

I bought this with the intent to have it as a nightlight but just FYI, the light in it is an LED strip with white light, so the light is very strong and cold (as opposed to warm yellow light). I ended up opening it up and putting in a nightlight light bulb cord from an old night light I was replacing with this one, so it's now a nice night light, but just FYI this is not the nicest light to be using as a nightlight right out the box without some modification. Also, I would think the crescent portion of the design should be the side that lights up instead of the negative space. Ended up not returning it though as I like the way it diffuses the warm light now with my light bulb modification, and can hang it up on a wall so is unique and kind of whimsical.

I got the wall light for a nightlight for my youngest. I did get him the star nightlight which I love and have for my other son so I got too BUT my young one broke it as soon as we got it. So to fix this and find something more age appropriate, we got this beautiful wall light. It is way too bright but I didn’t want to return it. I cut up a yellow folder in place of where the led shines and wha-la! Problem solved. It gives enough light and not too bright. I should of looked at the reviews, but we needed something my little one won’t break again and something high up since we don’t have shelves. It is a great idea for a light. Maybe make an option for a dimmer? That would make this product perfect.

It’s super bright, but it has an LED light strip that you can cut to make it dimmer! My husband opened it and cut about half off and it gave it the perfect ambient light for our kid’s room!

Very bright for a night light. Hardware included makes the job harder. I do like to on off button requires just a touch.

It’s clean, simple and easy to use. Very cute wall lighting to have in my toddler’s room. It’s bright enough to read books before the bed time with it on. Love it!

We chose this for our baby's room as a possible nightlight. We thought it'd be a soft glow. It is not, though! This could easily replace a bedside lamp. It's a cute design. It just didn't fit our needs.

Way too bright! If you can’t make it that bright, why wouldn’t you add a dimmer option.
