Little Live Pets - Lil' Dippers Fish and Tank - Fantasea

I bought two of these. I purchased a backup in case one didn’t work. (After reading online reviews this brand seems to be very unreliable!!!) One fish didn’t swim at all the other fish swam occasionally but stopped swimming after a few hours. We also purchased 2 of the Guinea pigs which the hatch stopped working on both of them and 2 of the dogs which the scanners on the collars didn’t work on either. None of the items worked properly and they are on the more expensive end for toys. We ended up returning all 5 items. One dog couldn’t be returned because we missed the return window

It's super cute but doesn't have a lid so a little hard finding a good area to keep it.

Upon opening I was a bit surprised to see it didn’t have a lid. That meant it couldn’t go in his room as a “pet” which is what he wanted. That wasn’t the deal breaker though. The issue is that it only swims for 5-10min then stops working. I have to take it out and put it back in the water. My kids had to ask me to do this multiple times a day. I thought it was a battery issue. But even after putting in new ones, the problem occurred again. Its been a little over a week and they’ve completely forgotten about it.

This was a great idea but it doesn't last long. I feel bad but now it's garbage because it doesn't work. We've followed directions for keeping in the water a short time and drying it off. We've replaced the batteries but nada.

This was my daughter first choice as a gift for her birthday. Her real fishes kept dieing, so I thought this would be the perfect replacement. She treats her Little Live Pets fish like a real fish. The addition of the aquarium is a nice touch. My daughter feeds her and even takes her into the bath with her. My daughter just turned 7 and I highly recommend this toy!!!

Such a cool concept but not executed the way you’d think. The fish can’t stay in the tank. It falls asleep after 10 minutes and then you’re supposed to take it out and dry it until the next use. The feeding is cool but you have to line up the feeder just right near the mouth so it’s challenging for a kid to get the hang of. It also doesn’t come with an instruction booklet as advertised so had to watch a few YouTube videos to find this stuff out. The packaging says nothing about the fish not being able to stay in water.

We were so excited to try out this pretty fish. Unfortunately it never worked. We followed the directions and also tried to dry it off and try again. It’s little tail never flapped once. We’ll try and replace the battery, but such a bummer to start.

Although as an adult I am a are of it’s limitations she is not and so I have loved how it has encouraged her imaginative play. Really age appropriate, was easy to set up & she has genuinely enjoyed plying & discovering with the live pets fish!

It has kept her interested and excited and allowed me to see how she handles responsibility. This would make an excellent and unique gift for a child.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Little Live pet fish and fish tank comes with a large plastic 'tank' with rainbow fish, two little plants and a magnetic feeder. My daughter really enjoyed holding the plastic bag in the water tank (after filling it with water) to watch the fish wiggle its way free into the water. The fish then swims around the tank and when dipping the feeder into the water will follow that around also. I have rated this product at one star as once the fish is released into the water our daughter lost interest quite quickly.We also realised it is completely impractical to have a large tank of water left out just for our daughter to play with independently as the risk to it being tied over and ruining our carpet was too high. We decided to let her play with in during bath time which she has somewhat enjoyed but this could also be achieved with the fish alone without the extra plastic waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Little Live Pets - LLP LIL' DIPPERS S4 PLAYSET - FANTASEA for my daughter. She was excited about it at first but now it just sits unplayed with. The decorations don't stay on the bottom and float up.

When you open the box, you set the fish in water and it swims out of its container. The fish comes with a feeder with a magnetic tip so you can "feed" the fish. The fish moves along with feeder. My daughter loves her fish so much!

They shockingly agreed on a name together her and now they say it’s their fish friend. Finding toys that put a smile on my kids faces is a win for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter LOVES this toy. She had a lot of fun setting up the tank and putting the fish in. The unicorn fish is colorful and bright, and it works well swimming around and following the feeder. Overall we're happy with it.
