Just ok has major flaws!
Very cute but not as advertised don't believe the good reviews. The lid where the Mom cat sits is super hard to open. The kittens are NOT magically born on the Mom's side, they just drop straight down from the other lids side, you can't see them from the Mom's side, you have to open the other lid to see them, very, very disappointed. The video showing them appear on the Mom cats side is a lie. Also the Mom and the babies are mostly hard plastic, would have been way better with sofeter material and more fur, the babies have no fur.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been trying out the Little Live Pets Mama Surprise and my daughter absolutely loved it. She was so excited by the whole idea of looking after the mummy cat and then discovering her kittens. The surprise element makes it really fun, and she loved finding out which kittens she had and playing with them afterwards. It’s one of those toys that really encourages imaginative play, and she’s spent much longer playing with it than I expected. The little kittens are adorable and there are lots of cute details that make the whole thing feel like a proper little pet experience. Definitely a big hit with her and one I’d recommend for any little animal lover.

Great toy

Thought it would have come with batteries in as taking it all apart ruined the kitten surprise for my son if we didn’t need to take it apart to add batteries he wouldn’t have known where the kittens were hiding.

The best part was the excitement and anticipation of looking after Mama and waiting to see her surprise kittens appear and her reaction said it all! I really liked that it wasn’t just about opening a surprise; she could care for Mama and the kittens afterwards, so it encouraged lots of imaginative play too. She has really enjoyed playing with them and treating the kittens like her own little pets. A really cute and interactive toy that has kept her entertained and genuinely excited. They absolutely adores any kind of pets but their biggest favourites are cats, so I knew this toy will be a big hit for them. My 6 years old loved sharing the mama cat with his little brother who is 1 year old. They were constantly stroking and feeding the mama cat so she would finally sing and magically bring the little kittens - more kitties to play with! My 1 year old son loves when the big soft kitty sings and often he tries to copy it, he also loves to wander around the house with the basket in his hand. Maybe the only downside is that the basket's handle can't be put down!
