Toy of the Year Award Finalist
Known as the "Oscars" of the toy industry, the Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards are presented annually to the top toys, games, and properties of the year. Administered by The Toy Association, the awards program supports the philanthropic work of The Toy Foundation, which delivers new toys to children in need.
My girls were super excited to give it a bath and find out what that got! We didn't have a blow dryer so it took a little longer to dry but they thought it was super fun that they could take it in the shower! After it dried, the hair was a little crusty but I think the hard stuff on it still will eventually wash off. It does look a little different then the picture shows, but my girls didn't care! They liked the noises she made and the collar and brush were fun also! I received this in exchange for a review.
My kids really enjoy this toy, it is very hands on at first with washing and drying it. But once it dried and after a few grooms, it was looking pretty rough. Not much more to it, so not sure it merits the cost. I was given this toy in exchange for my honest review.
Although the idea is really cute, the toy itself looks disheveled, even after the bath. In addition, the head, with the mechanics inside, flips all over and it quite hard.
Despite these things, my daughter does carry it around and play with it, but the noises are hard to hear.

Fun toy initially, but ended up being more work for me. My daughter initially liked the idea of being able to groom the pet, but after a few minutes of washing she gave up and had me finish. She did enjoy the grooming aspect after the cleaning, but hasn't played with it much since. The interactive toys seem like a good idea, but they don't seem to hold her attention after the initial play.
I loved this idea but it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. When you open it, it's fur has this weird stuff on it to make it stay balled up and when you wash it it opens. It took a long time to dry and the fur was always kind of matted then.
My kids really enjoy this toy, it is very hands on at first with washing and drying it. But onces it was done it was just another stuff animal to add to the bed. I was given this toy in exchange for my honest review.
My kids loved opening up the box to see the animal that needed to be "rescued." They also enjoyed the process of giving it a bath to reveal if it was a cat or a dog. The drying too FOREVER with a hair dryer, and I still feel like it didn't get all the way dry after well over 20 minutes. It also still looks like a well loved, scraggly stuffed animal. The interaction piece is a nice upgrade from a regular Scruff-A-Luv, and both of my kids really enjoyed that part of it as well. I received this toy in exchange for a honest review.
