My granddaughter is very much into STEM activities but with the exception of a couple of projects this toy is extremely disappointing. The direction are sketchy and the stem jr.com doesn’t offer additional projects. Please add additional projects to the website and make them easy to locate.

This was super easy to put together and has so many great features. My son loves to put together the rube-goldberg pieces to get the ball to fall through holes. We have done a few of the recipes for experiments. Some are easier than others - which is why I gave this four stars instead of five. The goggles are adorable and the flasks looks very real for plastic pieces. I would recommend for anyone who is pushing stem items with their child. Our son is three and can follow along with most of the activities.

My sister bought ths for my 3 year old for Christmas, we did a couple of the simple experiments that deal with vinegar and baking soda and he enjoyed those. sadly the marble drop doesn't have enough space to function. also the conductivity wires don't seem to work along with the bulb. Im sad that my sister spent so much money on a gift and all of the functions don't work. however, my son is three and loves that he has his own lab. took forever to assemble. instructions weren't as clear as I id hoped.

I can’t wait to watch my first grade scientists at work! Love love love! Easy to assemble, The first one took me about 30 min... as I wanted to make sure I did not miss steps. The rest took less than 15 min.

Fantastically Imaginative but...

Santa brought this for my 4YO and 1YO to share on Christmas. I've read all of the 1* reviews and they all complain about missing hardware. I too THOUGHT that I was missing hardware. Assembly is simple enough but there are 4 small screws if I remember correctly and they were wrapped up in the bottom of a clear plastic beaker. Honestly, really easy to miss, but they are there. My children absolutely adore this toy and so do I. They learn and laugh at the same time, and that's wonderful. Even as I type this review the wonder lab is sitting atop a towel and they are simply moving water from test tubes to beakers and back again. My 1YO loves hooking the circuits to just about everything in the house to try and light the lamp. He has even discovered if you clip a circuit to your finger and the other to my 4YO they can light the lamp by holding hands. Now the bad. First, which is completely unavoidable, this toy is messy. Lay down a towel and an old sheet if your kids are young because whatever they are playing with will be everywhere. Secondly, which may be a defect with mine, but the pressure gauge takes an astonishingly constant rapid turn that only myself or my wife can achieve. I've been attempting to google this to see if I'm simply doing this wrong, but I really doubt that. In conclusion, my review should be a 4* one because of that pressure gauge, but I'd hate to discount this toy for a simple piece. I get to teach my kids science while laughing together. My 4yo is grasping the concepts rather well and my 1yo is starting to learn patience while they take turns pouring water. Hats off to the developers of this little lab.
