This cast iron pan is great for cooking up a Huge Meal. But it is heavy and the handles of course get very hot. So I lift the Pan and my wife made handle covers outta Heat resistant material. If you have never bought Cast Iron Pans? Remember Hot and Heavy, But boy the food tastes SOOOOOO Good !! An ...  see moreof bobo42813's review

I have the 12 inch also but this provides the needed surface area (in one pan) for making a large amount to feed additional guests. I've only used it so far for an Asian scallops and salmon recipe, on my gas grill--gives an amazing sear while sealing in juices and avoiding charred areas from flare-u...  see moreof gardengirl24's review

This pan is great for cooking for a crowd! I use it often for family get togethers. Season and clean correctly and it will last a lifetime. I love it!  see moreof Lsalamun's review

15" skillet is great for cooking chicken with vegetables. It worked in the oven as well on the grill. The skillet is very heavy, but has 2 handles. Just bought it so I haven't tried anything else yet. Would recommend it to serious cooks.  see moreof Helen's review

I ordered this for my husband for Christmas, and I had no concept of how large it really is. It's beautiful, holds a lot, but is very heavy and a bit unwieldy. It will come in handy for big meals, but this is not as appropriate as an "everyday" pan.  see moreof jonyla's review

If the 12" isn't big enough and you need something for a family or even just multiple large pieces of meat, the 15" can't be beat. It's heavy, large, and gets the job done. I use it over a gas range and the size works fine for me, but on smaller ranges or ceramic tops you may have problems. Has the ...  see moreof Brandon's review
