Cook everything from small omelettes to single cookies in this 3.5-Inch Cast Iron Skillet from Lodge. This black cast iron skillet features a small handle for easy use, while the miniature size lends itself to great presentation if you're cooking for other people. The cast iron material is great for heat distribution and retention, making this 3.5-inch skillet perfect for frying up single eggs or baking a personal brownie topped with ice cream. When you're done, simply hand wash, dry and get ready for your next personal-sized treat.
Not practical - too small and cast iron material makes cleaning and care a hassle

I ordered two of these on a whim. They look cute but are totally impractical, so I returned them. They are the perfect size for ONE egg! I would have kept them if only they weren't made of cast iron, which requires special care. If they were a different, say "non-stick" material, it would be easier, but given the miniature size, it's just not practical to take special care of cast iron pans so tiny in size. It would probably be more practical to get a stainless steel ring in a non-stick pan to make "egg mcmuffin-style" round fried eggs for breakfast sandwiches.
i bought 2 for cornbread, just right for 1. bought 12 more for friends, they loved them too. i have a toaster oven and it will hold 6. i love the crust all around. for 4 it takes 1c of cornmeal, 1/3 c diced onion, 1/4 c diced jalapenos, 5 tsp sugar, and most of 1/2 pint of buttermilk. i coat my pan with a light coat of crisco. enjoy
It's cute. Make sure you read the description, especially the size, carefully. Don't do what I did and shop after drinking two glasses of wine. I suppose I can cook one egg in this and it will be amazing. It would also make a nice tree ornament...
All though it is cute i did not like the size. It is more for decorating than for cooking. I can see putting 1 egg in there but don't try anything fancy. There isn't enough room for you to be able to do anything with the egg. I was trying to find an omelet size pan and all pictures looked the same. I guess I missed the size of the pan so when it arrived I was very surprised.
They are nice, tiny frying pans, of good quality. However, I will probably be returning them since they were to be given as gifts, and those receiving them found them too small to be of any real use...even too small for one egg, really. It might be nice as a child's toy, but not practical in the kitchen. Not stable enough over a flame.
