As previously stated, this is a tiny cast iron frying pan. I would say it's more of a novelty item. It is possible to cook with, but almost too small for a single egg. If you're lookin to fry eggs, go for the 5" pan! Exactly what I was looking for!see moreof the reviewer's review

Lodge is best cast iron. I did not realize how very TINY this pan is. So read the description, it literally is the size of a toy version of a large cast iron skillet The quality is great.see moreof the reviewer's review

Super cute. I use it for an M&M dish in the living room and it's the perfect size. I cleaned before using it. Haven't applied any heat to it but I imagine it'd be perfect for cooking a single egg.

These are so wonderful . I have made eggs in them and cookies. We have 12 of them so it's easy to make a whole batch at once. And everyone loves the perfect eggs, I just put the little pans inside the larger skillet and they cook perfectly. When baking adjust your baking time to bake like cookies.
