As far as I'm concerned, Lodge is the best when it comes to cast iron cookware. I'd been looking around to purchase this particular dutch oven and am very satisfied with the purchase. I'm quite willing to pay a bit extra to get Lodge. the packaging was excellent; no damage; etc.see moreof the reviewer's review
