Made white bread in these. Crust was perfect above and below the rim. Rubbed with shortening before the placing dough. Clean up was a breeze. Rinsed and wiped clean (water only) in a few seconds.see moreof the reviewer's review

These pans are great! My bread came right out of the pan and was evenly brown. From now on, I will be using these pans for all my bread making. In the future, I am planning on making meat loaf in these pans. I am sure it will be very good.

For baking bread, nothing beats cast iron. The crust is uniform in structure and color. Cast iron outperforms thin metal pans that don't distribute heat as evenly. Proper cleaning and seasoning can make pans like these "non stick".see moreof the reviewer's review
