Q: I purchased a 'Fine Line' by Harry Styles vinyl and I heard quite a few skips. Why is this the case with vinyls purchased from Target? Is there anything I can do to "get rid of" the skips?

A: It's most likely your record player causing the skips, or dust on the record. If it still skips after cleaning, it's probably the player, especially if it's one of the suitcase models.

submitted byStupid luv - 2 years agoA: You can put a dime, or any other coin, on top of the needle which will put pressure on the needle and make it cut through any obstructions. Just make sure to tape it or something so it doesn’t fall.

A: It’s just a sticker to cover up any “inappropriate” imagery on the cover. It’s a common thing, so nothing to worry about!

I was obsessed with this beutiful orange marble vinyl until I sat down to spin it on my turntable and was greeted with pops and static and skips. As someone who has all variants of this album, I would recommend the indie brown, wesbtore blue or deluxe black over this version. I consider this a collection finisher not a good quality record.

A wonderful 3rd album from Lorde. I was originally trying to get a cheaper version of her vinyl because ordering from her website was 18$ in shipping costs alone. :-/ But it ended up better because I found this gorgeous orange edition.

I’ve never been the biggest fan of Lorde, but this album moved her in a very mature direction and made it so relatable over the hype and rebellion of the precious records! It’s very earthy and organic and a great way to comeback.

The album is fantastic. The record was nicely packaged. I mean this is how records should be sealed. I use sleeve protectors and didn’t even need one for the jacket because it comes housed in a resealable compost material. Less wasteful and goes perfectly with the theme of the album. Lorde’s third album is mastered exceptionally well here.

Solar Power has a different vibe and sound from her first two albums (in a good way). She has really developed in a positive way over the past 4 years and this album reflects that change. I think that this album is fantastic and this specific pressing is in orange which looks absolutely stunning!
