Chic industrial appeal and functional flair come together in the Loring Wood Lift-Top Coffee Table from Project 62™. This rectangular coffee table features clean lines and a boxy silhouette, lending modern flair to your space. The hidden storage compartment and an open shelf beneath provide space to stow away anything from magazines to media essentials with ease, leaving your tabletop free of clutter. The flat tabletop offers the perfect spot to rest beverages or snacks when entertaining. Dress it up with a vibrant floral arrangement for a splash of color when not in use.
1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born — with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
Coffee table was shipped with damage on multiple corners, and a couple screw holes were stripped. It was obviously a repack of someone else’s return, as a couple pieces had the plastic wrap just taped back together, and the screws were still dirty with wood dust.
Lift top hinge is crooked and doesn’t close all the way, and the table itself is bulkier than it looks in the photos online. Maybe my living room’s just small.
As far as assembly, it is kind of cumbersome for a piece from Target (table weighs 70lbs), but besides that, anyone should be able to do it. All tools are included.
Also note: packed with styrofoam, so you will be vacuuming.
