This is perfect for our needs. Not sure if it truly holds 24 pairs (more like 12) but we just needed something to put shoes near the entrance of our apartment that didn’t obstruct the door like our old standing shoe rack did.
Unfortunately this came but was missing a part. I ended up returning it to a store. I didn't like the idea it said it would fit over any door...but after reading the information on how to get it to fit over wide doors it said to pretty much bend and break off the tab on the top and screw it into the top of the door....well the application was to be in a rental and I don't think screwing it into the door is a great option when you don't "own" the door. No brainer...return. regardless...if it had all its parts or not.
Incredibly disappointed in this product. It looks cheap and flimsy. It is also very difficult (and annoying) to put together. I have a small apartment with limited space, and was really excited to give this a try. Sending back right away!

I already have a larger, older version of the same rack which had some issues where the sides came together. They have changed the design to fix that. I had left some tiers without bars for larger boots, so I needed more shoe storage. My husband had to adapt the first one to attach it to a wall. The new design has a easy snap off bracket, so that was easier too. Put together one section at a time with a hammer, then put sections together. Not difficult at all.
