Requires more assembly than i originally anticipated. you need a hammer to put this together because the different pieces need to be really snugly jointed. however, this holds tons of shoes with no problem and is really sturdy. just really make sure that you're hammering the pieces in as much as you can!!!
I got this rack to use in our guest closet for the kids back to school shoes, house slippers, rainy boots, etc. Overall, it’s a really good rack and it was easy to assemble. In the beginning, the rack didn’t quite touch the door all the way down (except from the top), so with the little spacing some of the shoes would shift and a few would fall. I gathered some small screws and screwed them on each side of the rack. The top row didn’t need it, but the others where the racks connected on each side and the bottom row I did screw. Now it holds perfectly and I can open and close it easily without any of the shoes shifting!
I have had this product for a year now and it is constantly falling apart. The metal bars need to be pushed back in several times a week and it does not lay flat against the door it hangs on. I would not buy this product again and I feel it was a waste of money.
After 10 years I'm reordering this great shoe rack again! It's finally coming apart and I am so thankful to see that Target still carries it. This shoe rack has gone through 10 years of summer and winter shoes at full 36 pair capacity. (It didn't come with stickers either!) Here's hoping for another 10 years. This has been the best shoe rack I've ever invested in...and this is coming from an avid shoe lover!
Very poor quality. It worked for a bit, but soon started falling apart. The poles fall out of the frame. The frame does not stick to the wall well, they give you tiny stickers to stick it with. This cannot support that many shoes, the weight is too much for this weak and poorly designed shoe rack. My shoes fall all over the ground because this is not properly attached to the door. Small stickers don't cut it.
