Tuck the Madison Avenue Floor Cabinet from Elegant Home Fashions in a corner of the bathroom for handy storage space. This glass-door cabinet features a shelf inside for convenient organization and a top drawer for corralling smaller items. This white cabinet is finished in a bright semi-gloss to keep it looking cheery in your space.
I got this on sale for $43, and although it comes with excellent instructions, well-labeled parts, and a nice tray for all the connectors, after spending an hour putting it together carefully, I still ended up with a horrible gap which prevents the cabinet door from latching properly, and the drawer from lining up exactly. Neither are enough of a pain to make me return it — my husband says he can put a couple of shims where the door hinge is so it will hopefully line the latch up on the other side, and well the drawer still pulls in and out ok...just looks funky. The gap isn’t from how I put it together — it’s from how the left wall (which is one piece already put together for you) is slightly wonky. Not enough to notice until the very end. Ah well, it’s still cute, but by no means worth $43, let alone the $58 it normally is.
Exactly as advertised and the price was right! Easy to assemble. Took about 30 minutes. Everything lined up fine. Instructions were almost foolproof. Okay, this fool made one small error, not paying enough attention to the detail in the instructions. But it only cost me 5 minutes. Looks great, plenty solid for average bathroom use. Perfect!
Easy to put together and instructions were actually well written (even provided spare parts and the instructions were written in English). Looks very nice after it's assembled but the quality of the finish is poor and chips very easily, so be careful when handling.
