A: Hello, The product is mounted using the included hardware (drywall anchors, metal screws). You don't need the drywall anchors if you are able to screw directly into studs. If there is anything you would like to ask please let us know!

Q: Looking for espresso colored shelves that we can display children's books on in a nursery. Do they have a lip on the front to keep books from falling forward off the shelf?

While the shelves were not as dark as I thought espresso would be, the color was acceptable. I didn't see a weight rating but don't think anything very heavy is a good idea. A plate groove would also be nice. However, three shelves at this price is seems reasonable.

These were going to be the perfect shelves for my arrangement, but sadly they are not espresso. They are a red/mahogany. I will be returning so I can't comment on durability, installation, or weight capacity.
