Zucca perfect red/orange brightening

I'm a natural redhead, on the orange spectrum and this is a super natural hue for me. I use this before every few washes - dampen hair, apply heavily roots to ends, leave on with shower cap like a treatment, then wash normally in the shower. Doesn't build up, makes me feel more vibrant in the winter!
Safe for toddlers?

Sprayed what I thought was conditioning spray in my child's hair but turned out to be lightening spray while at beach. It turned her hair reddish yellow. Is this safe for correcting her hair?

I have super dark brown/black hair with gold and red undertones. My highlights tend to turn red/orange brassy very quickly. This always tones down tye brassiness. I apply it on dry hair and keave it for 20 minutes before rinsing it out to schieve chocolate highlights. The only con is that I get two applications from each bottle when using this method to tone my hair. I've used it as a mask and get about 4 uses. I have just below the shoulder length hair.
Love my cooler toned blonde!

I've used the purple version of this product for years and move it! It gets rid of the brassy blonde and meaves me with soft, deep conditioned cooler tones. My only complaint is the directions. If you use it regularly, maybe 5 minutes is enough. I onky wash about every 4-5 days so 5 minutes isnt enough. Either use it regularly with every wash, or do what I do and wash, then let it sit for 30 minutes while you do other things, then rinse and finish your shower.
This Madison Reed Color Therapy is a lifesaver!

I bought the color Caffe. I had been going to my stylist over and over and expressing the same concerns and coming out 300-500 dollars shorter with the same freaking result. I have naturally dark brown hair that she insists on highlighting, then adding a toner. Well the toner doesn't work. Two weeks after, I have brassy colored hair and it just looked awful. So I looked for alternatives. I kept seeing Madison Reed products and I thought to myself: WHAT COULD IT HURT TO TRY. It was definitely cheaper than my hair appointments. Anyway, first time using it blew me away. Much better than the toners that they were using on my hair, gave it a much richer color and neutralized the brass. Also, the shine is INSANE. So all in all, this product keeps me happy and has saved me HUNDREDS of dollars by not having to visit the salon for toner after toner..

It's ok as color depositing product. I would not recommend it as a hair moisturizing product. It's pricey for how small the container is. Would not buy it again. There are far superior products in the market that will moisturize your hair.
Great product!

I've used this stuff a few times and it has saved my hair every time. my hair is fine, low density and curly. it doesn't weigh my hair down and it makes it SO soft. I use the copper colored one and it replenishes my copper tones within minutes. I use I on wet or dry hair and get the same results

I have highlights that are super washed put and brassy and i wanted some more brown in my hair. I left this in my hair for about 25 minutes and it did make my hair darker. I think this is good between salon visits, but i still need to go to the salon for my desired results. I used the color mocha
Beware this colors your hair like a dye!

I bought the Ruby hoping to counter the green that my hair turned when reapplying my gray dye to spice up my gray. Opposite of the color wheel is red so I tried this and now my whole hair is a bright pink red! I was mortified! On the other hand if you bright pink hair this stuff is better than any pink hair dye on the market!
Do not buy to counter green!!!

Great option for damaged hair

My hair is damaged and semi or permanent hair color leaves it spongy. I tried the cafe to color grays and am very happy did. I left the mask on for about an hour and my very resistant grays took the color. It does need to be refreshed frequently but i let it sit on my hair while doing other things. Cost is lower than a salon and less damage.

Adds great warmth to my hair, which was dyed brown after being highlighted blonde for over a decade. This conditioner adds life and chestnut brown. Doesn't really hydrate like you'd expect from a mask, though. Use for color, not conditioning.
Zucca on untreated light brown worked well!

I have long, virgin light brown hair that goes golden in the sun. After one use of the Zucca color as directed, the result was a beautiful, subtle pull red/ginger - exactly what I was hoping for. Was afraid I would need gloves, but the extra color rinsed off hands quickly, so I probably won't worry about it in future applications. The mask was very conditioning - could easily run a comb through after rinsing put mask and hair felt silky for days after first application. I will definitely use this again to keep the ginger hue. A great subtle and affordable alternative to color treating/dying my hair!

I've been using Madison Reed hair colour for 3 years and have always dealt with fading, so I've been using this product twice a week, and it works. Their products smell very clean and natural and this leaves my hair softer too.
Will never use again!

I tried a sample of this mask thinking I would notice or feel improvements. It made my hair so coarse. I typically use a flat iron to remove frizzies and straighten remaining curl after blow drying/styling, and it was so difficult to slide the flat iron. The mask made my hair was so coarse that the flat iron couldn't easily slide over the hair, and it getting snagged and the hair was not straightened. It took twice the time to almost straighten my hair and my hair was not soft and shiny. I will NEVER buy this product!
great to use a couple times a week

Since I stopped coloring my grays during COVID, this is my go-to conditioner. While it does not cover grey hair, it does make them less shocking.

An associate at Ulta recommended this to me for my freshly bleached hair, as I didn't want to use developer or anything damaging. I have tried purple and blue shampoos and masks before and that is all this is. Like most of them, it stains your hands, and it dried my hair more than it conditioned. It toned down the orange quite a bit, but I did have to leave it on 12+ TIMES the directed time. This likely caused some of the drying out of my hair. I ended up buying T14 the next day, so for me it wasn't worth it. I had to use 3/4 of the bottle to cover my hair. I will use what's left just to freshen up once in a while, but I won't buy again. I also realized after the fact that I need more of a blue-violet than a violet toner anyway, since I have dark roots and orange undertones and am not a level 9 or 10 platinum. Purple is to cancel yellow only and contains red. Blue cancels orange and is better for darker blondes. I used Wella ColorCharm T14, which has a blue base, and mixed with 20 volume developer and a squirt of conditioner. I once used T18 by mistake and the results weren't as good because it's more of a violet base intended for lightest blondes. I have shared the photo of before and after the Madison Reed Perla but without the T14. I would recommend this if your color is just slightly off or starting to fade. It's on the expensive side though, and you could probably get the same result from a cheaper product.
