Q: The Deluxe has 15 Tracks total. So how can Target claim there are 2 Bonus Tracks? Shouldn't that mean there is 17 songs in total? Is their information correct?

A: The 'standard' release will have 13 tracks.
submitted byMister Toad - 4 years agoA: The two "Target exclusive" tracks are also available on the iTunes Deluxe version (which also has a total of 15 tracks--same track listing as this). This confuses me a little since it appears to not match the exclusive description listed here.
submitted byOsiris0175 - 4 years agoA: Target is the only place that has the deluxe version on CD. That's the exclusive part. The other places (like iTunes) have the same version but only digital. All other CDs are standard versions. I was confused myself at first, but then I figured it out. I had to have the CD so I bought this one.

My problem is that Target claims and labels this as a "Target Exclusive with two extra songs." They make it sound like you are getting something that isn't available anywhere else. That simply is not true. Target is selling the Deluxe Version with 15 tracks. There is nothing exclusive about it; this can be found anywhere music is sold.

submitted bypaguy76 - 4 years agoA: Yes, this is a CD. Being the marketing genius, Madonna will have a variety of releases with various 'extras,' which of course, will bump-up the price accordingly. The latest speculation is that this Target Deluxe version will have all 15 tracks on one CD, similar to the 'Special' version that'll be released in France. Note, there'll be an official 'Deluxe' 2-CD edition that is said to have five bonus tracks (18 total), packaged with a 32-page hardcover book, the 'deluxe' version cassette, an exclusive seven-inch picture disc featuring album track ‘I Rise,' a double-sided poster and a ‘tattoo sheet.' The current double-vinyl version is stated to have 15 tracks (unsure which 'bonus' tracks but likely the same as this Target Deluxe) and has a retail price of $36.

Madonna is the queen of reinvention and trying to maintain relevant. Ofc 2019 was the year of Latino artists so she went with it. Love the songs with Maluma and Annita where she speaks foreign languages. Very catchy and modern. But some other songs like “Dark Ballet” are VERY electronically strange. She also incorporates some 90’s house tunes like “Deeper and Deeper” in 2 tracks. Overall, it’s a very artsy and distinct album with generes all over the place. It’s not my favorite Madonna album at all, but it’s worth a listen.
Just 1 more incredible album by Madonna making it her 9th #1 album

Madame X is just another masterpiece Madonna has done. Truly incredible album & beautiful songs. 1st let me say that there’s 3 different CD’s with different songs. I own all 3 different albums. There’s Madame X – Standard Edition with 13 songs & then there’s the 2nd version Madame X – Deluxe Edition that has an additional 2 songs “Extreme Occident" & “Looking for Mercy” & the last version of the album is Madame X – Deluxe Edition including the 15 songs with an additional 3 more songs “Funana”, “Ciao Bella” & “Back that up to the beat” for a total of 18 songs on The Madame X CD.  This CD Has such a unique sound like Madonna always does. “Medellin”, “Looking for Mercy & “Future” are just a few of the incredible songs on this #1 album. Madame X became her 9th #1 album & the singles off this CD made Madonna the only artist in history with the most number-one songs on a singular Billboard chart, with a total of 50 #1 singles. Madonna now holds the record with 50 #1 singles with the help of the #1 singles "Medellín", "Crave", "I Rise", "I Don't Search I Find", “Dark Ballet” & “Future” all 4 singles graced the #1 spot bring her #1’s to 50 with the 2nd closest artist is Rihanna w/ 33 #1’s. I absolutely highly highly recommend buying this CD. Even if @ 1st you don’t think you like the songs you will & you will find yourself singing them when not even thinking about the CD. The songs are very catchy & you will find yourself humming or singing them. This CD has amazing dance songs “Future” & “God Control” to beautiful Ballads like “Looking for Mercy” to songs you just bebop to like “Batuka” & “Ciao Bella”. There’s something for everyone on this CD. So again remember there’s 3 Versions “Standard”, “Deluxe” & “Japan Deluxe” & if you like Madonna or just want to find a fantastic new album Madame X is the album to get.

Absolutely the worst Madonna Album. I listened to this CD several times, hoping it would get better. I was seriously disappointed in this album. I have been a fan of Madonnas music since the early 80's. This album is truly terrible.

I'm glad Target has an exclusive version of this album with extra tracks. I'm an old school Madonna who likes physical albums. I know I need to get with the times! The album was just what I was expecting from Madonna working with Mirwais while reflecting on her time in Lisbon. It's nice to see her making music that makes her happy. I did a same day order pick up for Madame X and the customer service was great as well. I would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutley the worst Madonna has pulled out of her sleeve. I HATE this album! I have been a huge fan since the early 80's and found each album to be melodic, a musical journey and a cathartic journey. This album is the absolute worst.

Very different album for Madonna and a couple of songs were quite bizarre, like two or three songs in one. However, after listening to this CD for two weeks I must say it is a delight! I will go so far as to say this could very likely be the best CD Madonna has ever put out. I was disappointed in Target when I went in on the day the CD dropped and they shelf was empty! Let them know they underestimated Madge and don't count her out because she is 60. "Rebel Heart" had some great cuts like "Ghost Town" "Joan of Arc" (which really laid out Madonna's vulnerability), and "Rebel Heart" I was also a fan of "Hard Candy", more so than "MDNA". Collectively, I say Madame X is her best work to date. Quite political and I like the religious imagery she brought back in many of the videos, reminiscent of "Like a Prayer".

Horrible album. I had high hopes after Rebel Heart, it was the best Madonna album in decades and it’s followed up by her worst album ever. Not even one good song. I trashed the CD and will never buy a Madonna album without hearing it first. Complete garbage!

Only one artist could deliver such a powerful album almost forty years into her career. The queen of pop has reinvented herself again. Unlike many of todays generic artists whom only sing about breakups and other nursery rhymes, Madonna gives us a taste of her true artistry with Madame X, showing why she wears the crown and outliving all her other iconic counterparts.
