Q: Can anyone speak to whether this lamp is really bright on the eyes? I love the look of this but we have glass "shades" on another lamp and it really burns the eyes when you look at it! Thanks!
A: Hello Kat - Thanks for checking on this elegant floor lamp. It has a standard socket, allowing you to pick and choose your preferred bulb. It gives off a low-level warm light, and can handle a maximum of 40 watts. Hope you like it. - Andrew
submitted byAndrew - 6 years agoTarget staff supportA: The instructions for the lamp call for a maximum 13-watt CFL bulb, a maximum 60-watt standard incandescent bulb, or a 40-watt G25 vintage bulb.

Q: Assembly question - the 3 screws i received do not fit in the holes to attach the upper part of the light fixture. They are too big. Tried using allen wrench etc but will not work.
A: Hi- I apologize if you are having issues assembling the Madrot Floor lamp. Are you using the allen wrench that was included in the parts packet included in the box? If not we can send to you a parts packet that will include the correct allen wrench. Also the screws that are included in the parts packet are typically extras. The screws for assembly should already be pre-assembled in the section "b" on the lamp. If you have the correct allen wrench that was provided you should then just be able to insert the allen wrench and begin tighten the screws to hold in place the top arm of the lamp. Let us know if you need additional help. Thanks!
