This product is great in terms of the function and the aesthetics. I don’t understand why the people in the reviews are trying to fit so many things into a magazine holder, if you want to store books or notebooks, leave that to your bookcase. This product is meant for just loose papers or magazines.

I bought this to expand the Threshold gold magazine holders that I got over a year ago and they are not the same height or color as the same Threshold branded ones from before - which is why I gave it 4 stars. It's about 3/4 inch shorter and it's shiny gold vs. the more matte finish from before. That being said - there is no misrepresentation and they are sturdy - but not as heavy and robust of a material as the ones I purchased before.
