I'd heard such great things about Magformers and my 7 yr old grandson was excited to get this set but within minutes we were both frustrated and disappointed. The instructions are absolutely useless. I thought they would be step-by-step like Lego instructions but you're just shown very small pictures of already assembled pieces and have to squint and try to figure out what they've done. So far (after an hour) we haven't been able to complete one single item. Pieces flop around and swing when you need them to hold still. VERY frustrating.
