My 4 year old loves her magic mixie cauldron and I thought this would be a cute stocking stuffer but leaves much to be desired. There’s a small mixie inside that doesn’t do much of anything and is similar to a happy meal toy. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but for the price point, it’s not worth the money in my opinion. If it were priced lower this would have had a higher rating for what it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This magic mixie turned out to be a Charmling that changes in hot and cold water. It's so adorable. My daughter can't wait to collect them all. The Pilip fortune one she got has glitter inside when you run hot water under it. Cold returns it back to its normal blue look. It's neat that in the different groups of mixes they each do something different like water changes it or one glows and one has wings and they have different powers. My kid thinks it's cool and plays with it in tub to change the color.

Initially, my granddaughter saw the "Calderon" and wondered what kind of toy would be hidden inside. Initially, she also wasn't very interested in the calderon concept, or what would be hidden inside. After opening the calderon and finding the figure inside with its magic wand, she still wasn't sure if it was something of interest to her. Yet after about an hour of playing with the mysterious figure she determined that it was fun and she would like to collect all of the figures in the series. She is also using the calderon not to store the toy figure, but for candy, jewelry, and other things that little girls collect. The figure isn't high quality, yet will last a good amount of time with many playful hands.

I have to say the instructions are kind of confusing but we figured it out! Although super cute and small, once opened my daughter doesn’t really play with them after the initial excitement.

You take off the lid to find your wand. Then you rub the gem to see what mocking you will get. They have so many different ones. There’s common, rare ultra rare. They glow with the special magnetic gems. It is a great way to enchant the little ones. Overall it’s a great activity and they are great for birthdays, stocking stuffers, elf of the shelf gifts, or little surprises

My daughter's had fun rubbing the jem to see what it would show and so did I but their favorite thing was the little creature that was inside. It's fun to play with over and over the toy even comes with a booklet to show the different ones you can collect.
