Q: can this be used with beads other then seed beads? For example bigger beads like pearls. Also what size is this bead spinner?
submitted by review - 2 years ago
A:Â The bead spinner can be used with other than seed beads. But, the bigger the beads are, the less beads are going to thread onto the needle. With that said, I suggest using beads no bigger than 5 mm, small pearls can work in the spinner.

Q: Are you able to buy bead refills?
submitted by Sophia Wirth - 2 years ago
A:Â We do not offer refills for purchase, however you can buy any seed beads minimum size 3 mm (8/0) at a craft retailer to use with the spinner.

This is a waste of money. My daughter bought it and the string is to big so it doesn’t even thread on the needle. The needle threader broken and the whole thing is unusable. The only good part is the bead spinner. Now I have to go out and buy new sting, a new needle, and a new needle threader.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great concept that would be even better with some tweaks. I love that this product creates a way to make bracelets fast! Sometimes you just don't have the time to sit around for hours and string beads one by one. The pamphlet gives a lot of different ideas to make really cool and unique bracelets. While threading, the base tends to jump around a lot, so a heavier base would make the process even smoother. I also think this would be even better if it were battery operated. It can get a little hard on the wrists at times. This kit also requires glue, which is not mentioned on the outside packaging. It took some practice for my daughter to get the hang of using it, but she really loves it and all the cool and colorful creations she can make for herself and her friends!

I bought this as part of a themed birthday "party" I threw my daughter (aka a bunch of activities just for her since covid is preventing a real party) and she really loved it. We made the whole party "cupcakes and jewelry" themed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this bracelet maker. She plays with it for periods of time and makes the coolest looking bracelets for me, herself and her friends. I was scared the beads would get everywhere but the bowl hold them all very well and it's pretty hard to make a mess. It only took me to show her one time before she was able to do it herself.

Beads Galore!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 yr old granddaughter had a little difficulty in the beginning spinning the bowl of beads while trying to find the right position to hold the hook. this craft has many different colors beads with individual holders for quick work and cleanups. Great idea to have the lid to the bowl have a funnel on the end that fits exactly into the tubes holding the beads! It makes putting the extra beads away quickly. All in all, my granddaughter had a lot of fun picking out beads and creating patterns for bracelets and necklaces. I would like make one suggestion that instead of the child having to turn the bowl with one hand and using the other hand to hold the hook, maybe make the bowl spin by using batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love products that involve creativity and fun ! My 7 year old kid loved making colorful bracelets using this product. It did take some time to go through the instructions and follow it carefully but after that initial learning curve, she was able to spend a lot of time in making beautiful bracelets and gifting them to their freinds and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really likes this. I was skeptical about the spinning feature but it actually works pretty well. We're able to get somewhere around 3-8 beads per spin, so it didn't take but a few minutes to get enough for a bracelet. The icing top also acts as a funnel to pour the beads back into the bottles. The beads are very tiny so don't drop any!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 6 year old, she loves to create bracelets and necklaces. This bracelet maker is so fun for her to use, not to mention that is so easy for her also! My favorite part is the clean up is easy and there are no beads all over the place! Great for kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves making bracelets so this was a fun gift to try with her. It definetly needs a parents support for the spin maker to keep the beads going. Lots of colors to choose from and a great activity for kids to create jewelry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t figure out how to make this work- my girls and I just ended up making bracelets by hand because it was so frustrating trying to make it work. Also ends up being more of a mess maker than standard beads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Make it Real-Spinsational Bracelet Maker was a lot of fun. My Girls really enjoyed using this. they make bracelets all the time so this was a new way for them. The older child (11) had an easier time then the younger (8) one but with a little help she was able to make her own. Beads were good quality, spinner was surprisingly durable. String, hooks and stickers were included which was great. Needle and needle threaded also include. The instructions were easy to read and well done. Our girls will be having fun with this for a while

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old just loves making things so this is absolutely perfect for her. She did need some help but it kept her busy for hours. The beads are very small but such cute colors. This is a great toy for her fine motor skills. All her cousins will receive friendship bracelets from her thanks to this toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Make It Real Spinsational Bracelet Maker for my granddaughters to use. The cupcake bead holder is adorable. The kit comes with everything you need to make the bracelets. The directions were easy to follow and they could do it once explained. The kit comes with a large assortment of colored beads. The cute cupcake makes a great storage place for the extra beads. They had fun using this. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my twin girls because the are constantly jewelry kits and these seed beads get every where but it's the one they love beading with. This was simple enough to set up and very affordable. My girls took turns making bracelets and have played with it once every week since we got it.
