I absolutely LOVE these wipes!!! I used a similar product years ago, but sadly they were reformulated and I suffered a severe skin reaction to the new formulation. I have been on the hunt ever since for something comparable to my HG makeup remover wipes. Fast forward to today (2 years later) and I have FINALLY found them!!! My skin loves these wipes and my complexion has drastically improved since I began using them. PLEASE never discontinue these or change the formula! They are perfection!
I’ve been using these wipes for a couple weeks. I’ve had nonstop face irritation, eye burning, and cracked/dried lips. I stop using them and all of the issues have begun improving. I was thankful to see other similar reviews because I thought it was just me. They just may not be right for some people.
I love these wipes! I love that they really clean off your makeup and any thing you need to wipe. Dirt, makeup...etc. I have tried a few other brands but I always revert back to these. I like that there is a subscription option for this product as well since they tend to be sold out a lot.
Possible formula change caused major reaction to my lips?

When I first started using these, I had no issues and actually preferred them to other up & up face wipes I'd been using previously. At some point the formula must have changed. These caused a severe reaction with my lips. I wasn't even specifically using them on my lips, but just using them near my lips caused them to become extremely dry and almost numb in sensation. The skin on my lips would flake off completely. (I'm grossed out to even post this picture, but wanted to show just how badly my lips were affected. Sorry to gross anyone out!) At first I didn't realize the face wipes were the cause - since I had used a pack or 2 without issue before. I just attributed the dryness to my lips being chapped from the weather. When I had tried anything and everything imaginable to remedy my chapped lips and nothing had proven successful, it finally occurred to me to scrutinize other products I was using. I didn't think the face wipes would be the culprit since I had used a couple packs without issue previously, but at this point I have confirmed they are causing the issue. All the other products I use have been proven innocent.
These wipes are OK. They do clean your face effectively (although the only makeup I wear is mascara, so I'm not sure how they'd be with heavy makeup.) They're soft on your skin, and fairly gentle. One thing that's important to note though is that they really irritated my eye area. The skin on my face is pretty sensitive, and I didn't have any problems with these except around my eyes. They just left my eye area stinging and feeling very sensitive. They're also not super moist - I do sometimes feel like I need more than one to clean my whole face, although I have combination skin, and these are very good at getting rid of the oils, and not leaving my skin dry. For the price, it's hard to complain. They're cheap, and they work well enough, so they're a good option to use over pricier brands.
Good for the money, great if you wear light-medium coverage makeup. I wear long-wearing, full coverage and find that I need to use at least two cloths to get my face clean. Then when I use my Clarsonic I find there is still a bit of color on the bristles. I wish the cloths were a little more moist and a tad larger....then I think I could get away with one cloth.
I am not sure if I’m just allergic to something in these wipes but I’ve used many different kinds before so this honestly scared me. My skin is not too much on the sensitive side but on my second day of using these my face got swollen and I had so many rashes it was horrible I say be careful with these.
