Its not impressive, flavor is weak. Very very extra light fake maple taste, definitely no brown sugar taste. Skip it. It’s so bland and underwhelming.

Excellent Flavor! I don’t understand the negative reviews, because this Chex has a nice maple flavor! Both my husband and I really like it! I eat mine with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, which really adds to the flavor! This cereal is even good just to eat it out of the box!

My wife and I saw the Maple Brown Sugar Chex at our military commissary and we bought it immediately. In fact, we bought two boxes and then a month later came back and bought two more boxes. However, I have been back twice and haven’t seen the cereal again. I have been to many grocery stores and have not seen it at all. I went to th commissary again today June 12, 2024 and it is not on the shelves? I Love it - A Lot!!!

Absolutely delicious. I’m not sure how other reviewers were missing the maple flavor. It’s very pronounced. Love that it’s gluten free. However, the greedy corporations are at it again by reducing the product size and keeping the premium price. They think we don’t notice. When I brought it home in my Drive Up order my husband and I literally LOLed at the thinnest cereal box we’ve seen to date.

General mills sent me a box of cereals to try and this was one of them. I like it! It's slightly sweet with a faint maple flavor. It has good crunch. I could see it being good in a trail mix with nuts.

There was very little maple flavor to this - if it hadn’t read “Maple Brown Sugar” on the box, you’d never know that’s what it’s supposed to taste like. The corn overshadows everything else. Might have been better if they used the rice version instead? I was hoping I’d found a replacement for the long discontinued Maple Life cereal - alas, not even close.

Only had a maple flavor in the aftertaste. While eating the cereal, there’s not that much flavor at all. I didn’t detect any brown sugar.
