Marble Stocking Holder Green - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

I love green marble and gold/brass, but this stocking holder really let me down. Only the top was polished, so all of the sides - including the front, which is what you usually see the most of when it's placed on a mantle - are dull and show the saw cut marks. Mine had the marble piece glued into the base crooked and it's very sloppy looking where the ball is connected to the tip of the hook. It's listed as being able to hold up to 3 lbs, which really is not much, so I will only be using this as decoration in our speakeasy-style bar.

These stocking holders are made of heavy genuine green marble. The weight of them is great. I love the aesthetic of the hook (sleek and modern) but I’m concerned about it breaking. These will sit nicely on a smooth surface with a sharp corner. I tried placing these on my wall/shelf which is textured with a rounded edge. I am afraid this will fall if the dog or child bump or gently tug it. A nice piece if you have the right application.

I was disappointed to see how cheap the weld was on the stocking holder to the slab of marble block. It broke and came apart quickly. It’s a great focal point for sure, but quality wise it wasn’t up to my standards.

This item was broken upon arrival. I’m not completely in love with it. I feel like for something as sturdy as the base, they could’ve used a heartier hook to be able to hang stuff on. As it stands, it probably wouldn’t hang much, even if it wasn’t broken.

Beautiful! Very heavy. Came wrapped in paper really well. They do come a little dusty/white. But clean them up with some spray and a cloth and it looks great!

These are truly beautiful and have a great, heavy weight to them which is helpful for hanging stockings and may even keep them up after they’ve been filled! I docked one star because, like the other reviews stated, these were shipped unprotected in a box, wrapped only in a thin layer of plastic. No styrofoam, packing peanuts, smaller box, bubble wrap, etc. One arrived chipped and I’m going to return it but I only needed two and ordered three in case this happened, knowing I can return in store. Glad I planned ahead!

Looks like I'm not the only one who received damaged items. The box had four sticking holders and zero packaging material so they're all damaged and broken.

I bought these because I wanted something heavy to hold my stockings that weren’t a snowman or a tree. I ordered 5 of them and they were all inconsistent with their sizes. Plus whoever shipped them just threw them into a huge box so they could rattle around. However, they are really pretty so I don’t mind that a few are taller than the others and one is a little crooked (probably due to shipping)

These pieces are truly gorgeous, and I particularly love the green marble. My only concern is that the item was not packaged properly, resulting in some damage upon arrival. However, I don't feel this warrants a negative review, as the aesthetics and concept are fantastic. I simply wish that greater care was taken with packaging to better protect the natural stone. As it stands, I now have two damaged blocks of marble.

I ordered 8. They were all packed differently. Some were well protected and some were just thrown into a bigger box. But all arrived undamaged so I still award all 5 stars. I have not hung them yet so I can't speak to their stability, just their classic, elegant looks. How can you go wrong with marble?

Arrived damaged with zero padding. Had more shipped. Also arrived damaged with no padding. Starting to get super angry. ADD SOME PADDING.

They were all thrown into a box together and arrived severely damaged, chipped and hooks all broke off

No properly packaged! Just thrown into a shipping box with no bubble wrap or anything to protect from damage!
