about this item

Extra flaky crust made from scratch. Marie's story begins over 60 years ago when Marie Callender first baked pies for local restaurants. Marie used only the finest ingredients and put such love and care into every pie - and soon she began offering her home cooking and legendary pies at a pie shop of her own. Now you can enjoy the warmth and goodness of Marie's freshly baked pies at home. Made with Marie's original recipe. Marie's rich and tender pastry crust surrounds the smoothest, creamiest pumpkin filling you've ever tasted, with the perfect blend of cinnamon, sugar and spices. Food you love. This carton is recyclable.

Directions:

Keep frozen. Must be cooked thoroughly. Do not prepare in microwave or toaster oven. 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove plastic wrapper from pie. 2. Bake pie on cookie sheet in center of oven 70 to 80 minutes. Pie is fully baked when knife inserted in center comes out clean, outside edge of filling is firm and center is slightly domed. Carefully remove as product will be hot. 3. Check that pie is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots. 4. Let cool. Pie will slice and serve most easily when cooled at least 2 hours. Serve with a dollop of Reddi wip. For Food Safety and Quality: Keep frozen; do not thaw. Ovens may vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Product must be cooked thoroughly. Read and follow these cooking directions. Refrigerate unused portion for up to 3 days after baking. For more information call 1-800-595-7010. Marie's Baking Tips: If edges of pie begin to brown excessively, cover edges with a strip of aluminum foil and continue baking.

Gosh, used to love this pie! You've changed the recipe. Cooked the pie according to the instruction, 70 minutes and the top of the pie burnt. Pie custard has changed also, very dry. Sorry to say, I've tried this pie twice this year but will not purchase this favor again.  see moreof Linda C's review

Picked one of these up after Thankgiving because we still had a taste for pumpkin pie. I was surprised to find I had to bake it, I figured it was like any other store bought pumpkin pie, ready to defrost and eat. I was wrong! This is the best pumpkin pie next to home made I've ever had! Golden flaky...  see moreof Mike's review
