This postpartum shaping and nursing cami combines the seamless technology used in Afterband for Target with a nursing cami.
Easy one-handed clasps, soft seamless knit fabric and built-in shelf bra make this an essential everyday nursing cami for breastfeeding mamas. A shaping panel through the belly offers smoothing coverage.
The tank has compression qualities, including shaping at the waist and hips. The problem is if you’re short AND wearing a larger size, the tank is way too long so it’s trying to shape your butt instead of your hips. Uncomfortable and makes you look like a lactating sausage.
Size up! I normally wear a medium and bought a large. Even being a shaping cami, I found this to be on the small side. Also, the side panel is basically a string once you let the cup part down so it doesn't cover anything or help hold anything up if you are trying to use with pumping parts. Would not recommend.
I purchased this tank top in store. I’m 2 weeks post partum & breast feeding and have been wearing a girdle but need more nursing tanks. I searched through all the maternity clothes and looked specifically for nursing tops and found this one. It says on the tag (and online!!) that it’s Post Pregnancy Shaping Cami. It does exactly what it says. I wore it today and didn’t have to wear My girdle under because it held me together.
I have to say, after reading the reviews on this shirt (after I bought it, like I said I purchased in store), people need to learn to read. The description online and the tags on shirt clearly say it’s a nursing tank, yes it’s from isabel maternity but it’s not a maternity shirt. Of course pregnant women can’t fit it. It’s not sized wrong. It’s just not meant for pregnant women. It’s POST PREGNANCY. I wish I could do a lot of reviews to bring the rating of this higher since it seems it’s user misunderstanding that has led to the bad reviews.
This is tight but pretty much only in the bust. I was very squished up top but my post pregnancy belly had no compression unfortunately. This does not shape anything at all and I will be returning this item. Do not buy.
Terrible nursing tank. I am usually a xs or s and purchased a M. It is so small and I can barely get it on my body. Also does not allow for hands free pumping like previous brand sold a target. This is my third child. I miss the brand target used to sell!
This is a tight fitting compression top perfect for postpartum. I would never have been able to get it on while pregnant! It takes a bit to get it on, but it is so supportive and comfortable once on. I've pretty much been wearing it since my baby was born a week ago. It really helps hold my postpartum belly up - I liked the one I bought so much, I'm buying another. I am a size M and the M size is tight to get on, but I wanted a tight supportive nursing tank, so it's perfect for me. The only downside is I wish the fabric were softer.
This tank top runs extremely small. I decided to go with an XL to give my belly some room and it was a struggle to get it on. The material was very tough and tight. Definitely size up if you’re a small or medium. If you’re any bigger than that you’re out of luck and feel like you’re being smothered.
This tank was way too tight fitting. I ordered a medium. I usually wear small or medium tops. I wasn't even able to get it over my shoulders to completely try on. I've had better luck with the Gillian OMalley nursing tanks.
