I wish I was able to give this five stars. But when you try to open the bags, they are hard to open. And they tend to rip really easily when opening them. We have not tried putting them in our compost bin yet. Looking at more Reviews on how they break down before we decide to put them in

I used these for crackers to go with charcuterie boxes because they were pretty. Now they have words printed all over and are horrible. Sad day. I liked these bags. Returning the boxes I purchased.

I love these!!! They have the feel and look of reusable bags but are super flexible like disposable bags. I don’t understand the negative comments…. Mine have not fallen apart at all. I’ve frozen stuff In them, thrown them in my work bag and never had one break on me.

These bags are wonderful. They are durable which is great since I wash and reuse them (as I did the other bags). I’ve read the closure is too strong and the bag tears but the ones I bought don’t have that problem. I’m buying them again.

These bags were absolutely impossible to open. The zip opener would not separate, and pulling on it to open just tore it off the rest of the bag. Total waste of money, I threw them away after the first 4 or 5 bags ripped apart without opening.

Love the environmental aspect; HOWEVER, these bags are only compostable through an INDUSTRIAL COMPOST CENTER. So, you’d need to save them and take them to one of these centers. If you have one of those compost bins that gets picked up specifically, then these are great! But these cannot break down in your garden, a trash or recycling center. Therefore, you and the environment would benefit more from buying a plastic bag and recycling it; or get a few of those reusable/washable baggies.

After ten attempts, trying hard to like this product, never has the zip feature opened the bag, It tears below and above the "zip line," making it impossible to close the bag successfully.

The zip seal is impossible to open without tearing them. I had to remove from the bag just to be able to get the bag open. I’ve used several now and each one has been this way. Basically these are sandwich bags that don’t have a way of staying closed aside from folding them. 2 stars because at least they’re compostable.

I love these bags, I’ve tried reusable ones and just hated how thick and stiff they were. These work great (I know there’s been an issue with tearing in the past, but they fixed it), and I feel so much better knowing they won’t stick around like the traditional plastic ones. Buying my second box now!

These bags are sooo hard to open. Half the time, the part above the zipper tears off before i even get the bag open for first use. I really want to do better with single-use products and applaud Target for trying, but I've had to throw away many of these before even using which is wasteful too.
