Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipstick - 0.14 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently #GiftedbyMabelline a Super Stay Vinyl Ink in the color Pathfinder. This is the most creamy and color saturated lip product I have ever tried. The color lasted the entire day with not even a touch up needed. I have purchased Super Stay in several colors now. I have been spoiled by this product. It is everything I have looked for.

I really thought I would love this lipstick based on the reviews I’ve seen. But it was too thick and it never dried down so my lips felt super sticky. After wearing it for a few hours, my lips were super dry. I didn’t notice any color transfer to my drink, which is strange because my lips certainly still felt weirdly wet.

Fabulous dupe of a Lancome product except this is better. The Vinyl gloss gives excellent color payoff with a comfortable feel. Perfect applicator, not too big not too small. I just realized my perfect shade Dainty is no longer available. Please recommend a replacement shade.

Pretty disgusting when an item is used and sent to you. Unable to place a return unless it’s in person. It comes unsealed and when I opened it and it already looked used. Loving the color (captivated) but very unfortunate to receive the item like this, I don’t think it’s right to receive a product used especially when it comes to lips when there’s diseases like herpes out.

I bought these in several colors. None of them have the sponge applicator on the tip. It's a mess to try to apply because of this.

This lipstick is only good for a couple uses. Then it become a poor lip gloss! It loses pigment and doesn’t stay on or stick anymore. I tried shaking it multiple times got multiple shades for more than a minute and nothing worked! Very disappointing and waste of money. Not only my opinion but other women have the same issue too on Reddit.

I was looking forward to trying this but my experience was far from pleasant. First of all the lipstick was incredibly difficult to remove even with make up remover. I had to scrub hard to get it off. But the worst part was the burning sensation that started shortly after applying it. I thought it might go away but my lips still feel awful even 24 hours later. My lips still feel dry, irritated and uncomfortable. Not worth the trouble.

I use this lipstick for colorguard and let me tell you, it has been through it. Sweat, rain, hail, wind, tears, or food, and even just wear throughout the day, this lipstick has not failed me yet!! Very easy to get off too! Just use a makeup wipe or something and it comes off easily!

Received an open one in my drive up order. The seal was broken and it had clearly been used. It wouldn’t let me ‘fix the issue’ on the app, told me I had to return it in store. It’s literally garbage.

I thought this would dry and stay but it didn't and I had to reapply several times. More between a lip stain and lip gloss because it was almost transparent. I think I am so used to the Stay Matte Inks that I love so much because they don't come off.

I’m going middle of the star rating because I neither love nor truly hate this product, but I am not a huge fan. I bought this on a coworker’s recommendation, who loves it, for an upcoming wedding. She told me it lasts forever, which is what I want since I don’t want to have to keep refreshing my lipstick. This definitely stays on. I had a hard time getting it off my lips. Granted I tried it for only a short period of time to see if I liked the color. I couldn’t leave it on for very long cause it was bothering me. I don’t wear lipstick often so it may just be me and my reasons for not wearing lipstick. It felt very dried on. I also felt a stickiness behind my front teeth and I kept checking my teeth to see if some had transferred onto them. It hadn’t. I don’t usually lick my lips, preferring lip balm or chapstick, but maybe I was smacking my lips together and some hit my tongue. Either way, I couldn’t get the film off my teeth. Is the color nice-yes (color Cheeky) Does it go on smooth-yes Will it last-I have to assume a def yes Is it easy to remove-no, my lips felt raw and still felt like I had some left on. I do use micellar water for makeup removal, but I’ve never had an issue before with removing any makeup. I swear I could still feel it the next morning. I think this product is a love/hate depending on the user and it is not a universal fit for all. Sadly it’s very pricey to find out you may hate it.
