Maybelline Volum' Express The Mega Plush Mascara

This is literally the best mascara. I’ve tried some other ones like covergirl but they don’t stay up. But this one makes your eyelashes look like falsies and you do t have to curl them and they still stay up. And I have like no lashes. So this is my holy grail product. Oh and the wand is meant to be bendy it flexi.

By megaplush they mean the brush which is so flexible you can hardly apply the mascara. I have to use the brush from my old mascara to apply it.

This was my first mascara and honestly 10 years later nothing compares. Over the years, I have tried more expensive and popular mascaras but I always come back this one. I prefer a very natural and non-clumpy formula and this is perfect. Please never discontinue!

This mascara is amazing! I used to wear it in middle school 15 years ago and I just figured I’d try it again! There are a lot of bad reviews but this brush separates my lashes beautifully for a nice natural effect! It does smudge easily though so I only wear it on days I’m not gonna sweat!

I hate this mascara! The wand. The formula. It’s all bad. First off the wand bends so bad you can barely get it on your eyelashes. It looks so awful. I like dryer consistency mascaras but after a few uses it’s already to the point where I can’t use it anymore. Waterproof? It smears under my eyes but most waterproof mascaras do that for me. Will not repurchase.

Have purchased two different tubes from two different stores in the past couple of days and both have had the wrong brush for this formula. I thought maybe the first tube was just a manufacturer mistake, but the second tube was the same way. It is not the full, soft, flexible, greenish-blue plastic brush shown in the photo and that has always come with this formula. The brushes in both of the tubes I've just bought are awful and don't work at all. What gives, Maybelline?

I have been lost since “full and soft” mascara was discontinued, and Originally I loved this mascara but was annoyed it was not waterproof because waterproof was the only way to keep the curl. So i purchased every type of mascara, high end and drug store, and I keep coming back to this one. This is non clumpy in a way that no other mascara is. Literally. It is so smooth. I love a “dramatic natural” look and this meets that. I now perm my eyelashes just so I can wear this mascara as it doesn’t come in waterproof. Which shows that it is different from the rest.

Mega Plush Volum' Express mascara gave my lashes volume and length with out making them stiff and sticky. No mascara crumbling off my eyelashes during the day. Many people don't like the flexible wand, but I love it. Unfortunately the only colors I have been able to find in a while is Very Black and Blackest Black (is there a difference?). There are fair people like me that need a Brown mascara. I am now in search of a new mascara.

The brush is so flimsy it’s literally the worst mascara I’ve ever used.

This is my Holy Grail mascara, I could buy literally any mascara in the world and this is the one I choose, dont you dare talk badly about it. Also it keeps you from losing lashes other formulas are too drying.

The mascara looks good but the application brush is really flimsy and just flops over when i apply pressure to my lashes. Also, the brush came damaged with the spikes being bent and flattened. It’s also not pink like the picture shows …

I purchased this item because it was waterproof. when i received, it didn't say waterproof on the front like other mascaras have. instead it says you can take off with soap and water.... I would say this wouldn't be waterproof... well, let's say at the end of the day, i looked like a raccoon. definitely wouldn't recommend nor will I buy again!!

Flakes so bad after application, I must have gotten a bad batch. Definitely a no go. Back to L'oreal I go.

Ok, this is my favorite mascara I won't lie but it has one glaring flaw that EVERY SINGLE PERSON POINTS OUT!!! The wand is flimsy and bendy and as useful as a paper umbrella in a rainstorm. That being said if you want light weight, non-crunchy, voluminous lashes that doesn't clump then use this but save the wand from your previous mascara or buy a cheap spoolie. If you are looking for lengthening or curling this isn't for you. This will give you more of a feathery look with a bit of definition and depending on how you use quite nice volume. This mascara was released in 2012, and the annoying useless wand was the first thing everyone complained about. And here we are nearly a decade later and it's still the same issue. ITS BEEN 9 YEARS MAYBELLINE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND FIX THE WAND!! When all is said and done I will not give more stars or a better review until maybelline takes the one consumer complaint that is consistent across the board and FIX THE WAND. When they do that (and I am not hopeful) I will give this a better review. For the Maybelline Customer Care Team Representative, please don't recommend a different mascara or your usual patented 'We sincerely apologize and understand how frustrating it is when a product does not meet your expectations. We will definitely be sharing your feedback with the team'. Its been 9 years, if maybelline was genuine about listening and caring about feedback they would have done something about this already. This has been written for the customers looking for mascara not to inform Maybelline about a design flaw they are already well aware of.
