They nailed most of the cosmetics for this Trapper Keeper. The little things are off, though. The material doesn't feel as rugged as the originals. The metal rings are a definite step back from the plastic sliding rings of yore. It's fine for an adult who wants to feel a little nostalgic at work, but I wouldn't recommend hauling it around for school.

This is just as fun as the originals! The colors are outrageous! The design is sort like looking back at the 80’s with modern eyes. In other words, it’s the 80’s vibe pushed a little further. Still, it’s very close to the original feel of the Trapper Keepers. Love it!

Shipped damaged with crushed binder rings and ripped plastic on the outside and folders. Ridiculous quality check of product by shipper. It’s nostalgic for those of us that grew up with trapper keepers but its flimsy quality, only 2 folders and no option to purchase additional folders or pencil bags like back in the day.
