A good STEM project for older children

My boys were totally excited when they saw the box. They are into RC cars and drones and this robot kind of fits in the same category. Once they opened the box they became intimidated with the vagueness of the instructions and volume of parts. It actually put them off from wanting to even star...see moreof the reviewer's review

Good family time building and using

My boys and I had a good time putting the Meccanoid together. It was a few days in the making, but well worth it. Usually the only electronic items the boys like are those that involve a video game system and the television. It was a nice change of pace to spend some quality time with them without ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Mecanno 2.0!

This at first seemed overwhelming, so many pieces and the time it took to build. The best part was building it as a family, even better playing with it after as a family. The worst part, almost 500 pieces and i honestly feel that the company could have some of this assembled before packaging to sav...see moreof the reviewer's review

A bit too big for 10 year olds

I was sent this from BzzzAgent as a promotional product. I have two sons, one younger (13) and the older one (16) Honestly the younger one wouldn't have the patience to put this type of thing together. Too many steps and too much to do. (he is more of an action type of guy) The older one spent ab...see moreof the reviewer's review

Fun project - father & child bonding time

Getting this robot put together was a challenge - because my 4 year old son REALLY wanted to help, but we had a lot of fun. Originally, my 13 year old son was going to head up the project, but I took over. The actual building part was easy - there are a lot of parts, so we sorted the nuts and bolt...see moreof the reviewer's review

The meccanoid was really fun to build, but took a while, so make sure you have a little time on your hands, it took me about 4 hours to get it completely built. The instructions are really well put together and helped a lot, just make sure to pay attention the colors of bolts.(I learned this the har...see moreof the reviewer's review

We have been having incredible fun just building this robot for days. It's a fantastic hobby for father/son and really helps children pay attention to the details while enjoying the process of learning! Once he's up and running my son can't wait to interact. 12 boys were hovering around this little ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Meccanoid but my Daughter and I were looking for a project so we took on the challenge. When we first opened up the box, we were kind of intimidated. There are lots of parts - LOTS of them. But as we sorted it everything out we realized that it wasn't as daun...see moreof the reviewer's review
