This Pokemon Charizard is amazing once built! It’s perfect for any Pokemon fan, builder, or collector. It has easy to follow directions and pieces go together easily/ Once built, the motion/movement aspect of this is really cool! My son (7) had a great time building this with his dad and still has it on display in his room! We would definitely buy this again.

Love the idea of a building block charizard set. However, the pieces are very difficult to fit together and we got stuck at step 195 where things seem to not fit no matter what we do. Very frustrating and disappointing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. My 10 year old son is a huge Pokemon fan and always up for a building challenge. This set did not disappoint -- if you're looking for a building set to keep your Pokemon lover busy for a while, this is definitely worth checking out. It is definitely complex and challenging with 1,664 and 462 steps! Some support may be needed, as we had a few instances of frustration in putting small pieces together. Overall I'd say he spent about three weeks on this project. My favorite part (aside from keeping him occupied and off of screens) is the motion aspect. You can actually play with it a bit before you set it on the shelf.
Great for keeping busy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great to do a little each night with homework! Over 400 directions to complete this Pokémon. Directions are in large pictures and show clearly how to assemble. Individual packages can easily rip open. My son looked forward to building it everyday. Size is perfect for display!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really neat idea to incorporate movement with a building block set. A bit tougher to put together but very impressive as an end product. Details are spot on for the design of the character. My son was definitely challenged putting it together but enjoyed the experience building and playing with it.
Worth the work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toy is really awesome! The motion is great and the size and detail are wonderful. The assembly is quite time consuming and took quite a while for us to complete. It was worth it but wasn't the easiest to accomplish.
Challenging but impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun, lengthy build that took my son over week to put together (building about 2-3 hours a day). Pros: - Very detailed, great for an older kid (my son is 10 and found it a good mix of average to challenging) - The final product is impressive, with multiple moving parts including the full body, wings, and fire in the base Cons: - It is occasionally quite difficult to see which pegs to snap together. Even with my help, my son and I took a few minutes on some steps to figure out exactly where a piece needs to snap to the next one. It helped to look a few steps ahead to get a different view - The pieces themselves are sometimes difficult to snap together. Slows down the process to have to wiggle the pieces together
Great build!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Charizard is amazing! There are so many pieces. If took my son a while to get it built. He really loved that it moves. In face, building the base with the moving parts may have been his favorite part. This toy is great for any pokemon loving aspiring builder!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this project, though we are not quite finished building it! My grandson has loved working on the project, but it does take some time to work through the full project. The only thing we have noticed is that he sometimes needs some help snapping the blocks fully into place by a grownup and you have to take your time to really make sure you have the correct block as you are building. We love how the fire moves up and down and can't wait to finish building Charizard and have him fly around the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a large building set with over 1600 pieces that will hold the attention of any child who is interested in building block toys. The Pokemon theme and especially Charizard as a character are great and well known within my son so he was very excited to combine two of his hobbies. The set comes in a large very sturdy box, the pieces are packaged in bags that help keeping the actual piece count of the specific build phase to a manageable amount. Instructions are very clear with color coding and very detailed pictures of the actual pieces and how they need to come together. So building the set was very fun and motivating. As for the result - there is a lot of mechanics involved in the set and when everything comes together it's great. The whole figure moves as it would be flying so it's a great model. Overall we are very happy with this product. It was fun to build and the result is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing model! My 12 year old son loved it and had no trouble putting it together. The details are awesome. There was some issues with the crank and making Charizard move. But once that was worked out the motion is amazing! This is a great model to display!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mega Pokémon Motion Charizard looks so cool! There are 1664 pieces so it is taking my son a while to put together but it comes with a large instruction book with big pictures that are a huge help. My son is really enjoying putting the gears that will make Charizard move together. He says it's making him an engineer. I would recommend this set for anyone who loves Pokémon and building sets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Charizard is a great addition to our home! My daughter is a huge fan of the whole Charizard evolution line, so this was a no-brainer to add to her current collection. We worked together to build this, and it went together pretty easily. There were a few places where I had to help her (10) get some of the pieces in (or tighten something down), but very easy construction process overall. It took us a few days of working for an hour or so to get this completed. This build is sturdy, though, which is great since it can be manipulated to move. I love the fact that there are little rubber "feet" bricks to add to the bottom so when it's being turned, the build doesn't rub against the surface it's on and scratch it up. I do wish the wings of my Charizard moved with synchronicity, but that's about the only downside to this as a whole. All completed, he measures almost 18" long from nose to tail (if tail is straight out behind him--I do like that the tail can be manipulated to curl up some) and almost 12" wide from wing tip to wing tip (when they are as straight out as they can go). Definitely a great piece! I love the display, too, and the extra lava flowing over the top of the stand is a fun touch. My daughter loves turning the crank to watch him "fly". Overall, definitely recommend this to any poke-fan out there! It's a great statement piece, and the fact that you can manipulate it to make it fly makes it an even more interesting piece. The base is really solid and everything went together really nicely!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons were excited to build this since Charizard is one of their favorites. My 12 year old spent a few hours after school for three days building it. He said the instructions were all very clear and he didn't have much trouble. We found it to be a good feature that the build was separated into 28 bags which followed the directions so he could build it a few bags at a time and not have to worry about losing pieces. One drawback is that the wings are made of cardboard. It has multiple tabs that will correspond to the blocks and fit between the pegs. Unless your child is very careful, I suggest an adult separate the wings from the cardboard since these tabs are what hold the wings to the blocks. My son also said he had trouble with putting the completed Charizard onto the mounting pieces. It kept falling apart on him. This part just needs to be done with some patience and probably some help from an adult. One last thing is that the completed Charizard is pretty heavy. When turning the lever to get him to move, the item needs to be on a stable surface with some grip. Otherwise, the base likes to move along with Charizard. So far it hasn't fallen off, but I would hate for a sibling to come turn it and cause the entire thing to collapse. It was definitely a fun build for my son!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The excitement when I received this was higher than anything else. I couldn't wait to open the large box and get to work. The pieces go together easily and add such great detail when put together. Once together it was time to check out the movement aspect, the small handle on the backend turns to move Charizard forward and back. The handle is easy to move as long as the base doesn't move, the bottom has gripper pieces to help hold it in place/avoid it from sliding around. Much bigger than expected but in a great way. The extra pieces to have Charizard's name plate in different languages was a great surprise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were not thrilled with this lego set. It does have a lot of pieces for our child to construct. Upon constructing we noticed that we were missing quite a few components and the wheels inside are unable to turn due to this. For a project this big it should definitely have all the pieces. We will try to get the missing pieces from the company so we are able to complete it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great build! This is a heavy build and awesome with the moving parts. My 8 year old had zero issue doing this himself over a day perioid. Wings move, legs move, body moves. Interchangeable name plates let you choose what language you want it in.
