I thought this was so cute, but had so many missing pieces :/ we couldn’t finish the tail or the head :(

Instructions and product are very well done. Definitely need to be age 10+ to do this. It's not simple and requires at least a little hand strength to lock pieces together. Completion time will be ~5 hours if working alone. No missing pieces. Couldn't be more pleased with this product.

This is more like 8 in 1. The pieces are in 8 seperate bags, each one is to build the different parts, the head, body, tail, etc. Once assembled, they all attach to the main body. It's very well done, even if we were short one cheek piece.

My nephew loves the Legos and Pokémon.

I bought this and was exited to see it finished but it came incomplete and could not finish the head. I emailed the company to see if I could get the parts I needed but got no answer.

The instructions were easy to follow and gave great step by step instructions. Once she finished it, it gave her a great sense of accomplishment that she put it together on her own and had something to show for her work. Such a cute and well made toy. A great project for kids who love building or crafting.

The difficulty level was perfect for his age range, not too easy and not too hard. The instructions were easy to follow. The materials are very durable and have a great finish. This was a great project that can be done by a child alone air with the help of an adult. The finished project looked very realistic. I was provided this item in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was extremely excited to receive this Mega Pokémon Jumbo Charmander. She loved that it was blocks that could build it. When she opened the box and saw all the pieces, she was a little apprehensive. However, once she started with the first package her excitement quickly returned. I could see her face change as she successfully put all the pieces in the right place. We built it over a few days and each day gave her a sense of accomplishment and she knew that when she finished she’d get what she worked hard for. I like that it kept her engaged and became a family project to look forward to even if she didn’t let us help lol.

He seemed to have no issues putting it together and I could tell it wasn’t as simple others sets but he didn’t seem to mind. We have since gotten additional mega Pokémon building sets. Durable and has held up. A must buy for any Pokémon lover! Worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MEGA Pokemon Jumbo Charmander is an awesome gift for a Pokemon fan. The set is made up of 750 lego pieces. Definitely not for kids younger than 10 years old. My 8 year old got too frustrated to assemble it but loved the final product. They're not kidding when they call this thing MEGA - it's huge. It's super posable, even the mouth moves, which makes it more interesting for my kid. I highly recommend this for the Pokemon collector in your life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I *love* this charming little Charmander. First, he's a perfect size for a display piece when building is complete. This build took us a little longer than some sets (with 750 pieces and 227 steps, it was bound to), but the way MEGA writes their instructions and shows how the build comes together makes it so easy and seamless for adults and kids alike. I built this with my 9 year old, and she had no problem putting most of it together. I did help line up some pieces on the sides and get the head on since it was a bit snug, but overall she did most of the work. I really loved how this build split up the left/right/top/bottom of the build by color coding. This was brilliant! It helped to keep the right side on the right and the left side on the left when putting everything together. I'm so glad they thought of this! I'm sure they do this with all of their builds that need to mirror sides between right and left, but this was my first experience and it was exactly what was needed. This little guy is adorable. I guess he's not really little--sitting he measures a little under 9", with standing giving him about another inch. The head, arms, legs, and tail and poseable, and he can stand on his own if he's on his feet (you do have to work the tail a bit to get the balance right). I think he looks adorable sitting, though, so that's how I've chosen to display it. The mouth can also open and close, with the cute little teeth peeking through. The only downside I have found is that I keep knocking off the little toe claws when I pose the feet, but they are easy enough to get back on so it hasn't really come off as a problem yet. Overall, this Jumbo Charmander is a nice solid build, great for Pokemon collectors and lovers alike, and adorable (assisting with this is the pose-ability factor). My daughter and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys building and Pokemon, and who is looking for a fun afternoon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son built this set over multiple days—it was good for several hours of entertainment over about three days. He’s a regular user of brick construction sets and was able to easily follow the instructions to build a very large Charmander toy. (He was very impressed by the size of the finished product.) He did say that there were a few pieces that didn’t go together easily, but he got them together on his own eventually without adult assistance. He was especially impressed with the included brick separator compared to competing products he has used. The project is broken out into eight bags, so no worries about having all the pieces of the toy spread out all at once. All of the limbs and tail move, so there is some playability once the build is finished, but mostly my son can’t wait to display it with his other Pokémon toys. A definite winner.

Once it was build they had a fun time posing the model and playing together with it. They especially enjoyed that the mouth could open and close!
