I heard the Mego is back in July 11, 2018. I'm glad the IDOJ pack sets are back in August 11, 2018... I purchased two pack sets online and in store. I just to keep one sealed and to opened one in my collection. I loves the card art and figures!
Ordered 2 and both boxes were ding on the same side even though they were shipped separately. They both had a small tear on top of the box, not so great for collecting. Jeannie looks great, very much like the actress however, Tony doesn't resemble the actor and resembles more like the actor Julian Mchon.
Very disappointed in my I Dream of Jeannie boxed set. There's more box than figure(s). The Jeanie figure is actually well done, but major Nelson is awful. His eyes are badly painted, one looks up, the other down. His jacket is so tight, it doesn't allow for posing...and with most of these new Megos the ankles are loose, making it almost impossible for him to stand. The QC on the figures is terrible, but I hope they improve for Wave 2. We'll see...
I wasn’t “wowed” by the Mego return (and there are some quality control issues on other dolls) I got 2 sets , as I Dream of Jeannie is a favorite...one to debox, and one to keep. Jeannie is quite nice a detailed. Her face does have a resemblance to Babara Eden ( mixed with a famous 60’s TNT Doll) and the outfit is quite nice, even little tassel details. Tony isn’t as nice, but still complements her well. His uniform buttons and badges are ironed on..but still a nice retro feel. Packaging is nice too. Where other figures in this line may have “missed it” this set is pretty spot on! Keep it up!
