Mei Apothecary Reusable Soft Facial Rounds with Machine Washable Bag - 14ct

I was really hoping for a sustainable remedy for removing my makeup. Unfortunately, these are not gentle/soft for use on the face.

Fantastic option for daily use and other routines. The bag they come with for washing work well, and lay them out to dry after a gentle tumble in the dryer. I store the clean ones in a circular Tupperware that I can run through the dishwasher occasionally . Only thing to be mindful of is the pads are not necessarily easily absorbing - for instance, if you do a few droplets of the eye drops from the top before using it, t he droplets will roll right off the pad instead of immediately absorb. No big deal for me -I will absolutely be ordering more!

Excellent alternative to using cotton balls or cotton pads for makeup removal. No stains after washing. The cotton is very soft. The mesh bag makes it so easy to use! Recommending to my friends and family!

These were such a disappointment. I wanted these to dry off my face after using a makeup melting balm and face wash. They don’t absorb anything, just pushed it around. Not sure if it’s the material they’re made of or how thin they are. Could be a combination of both. Have it 2 stars because you get a lot in one pack.

Gets stained immediately, soft at first but rough within a few washes. Doesn't last long. At first they're a dream cloud but that quickly changes. I've attached photos of mine that are a year old vs a new one that I saved for comparison. It does the job but there's not really any cost savings considering these don't last a year without being really ragged, I could buy disposable for the same amount of time for less and not have the cleanup to think about. If you used for toner, I think it would be a different story. Makeup removal= staining was inevitable.

The washable bag is not the best quality. It ripped the first time I used it. You will need to bleach the pads to get mascara stains out. They are very soft and hold micellar water well. I prefer something a little more rough that exfoliates, but if you want something more gentle this is it.

I love these and have purchased several sets. They are larger than a cotton pad and do not thoroughly absorb the eye makeup remover so you use less product. I have had trouble in the past with fibers from cotton balls getting into my eyes, but not with these pads. Once I have accumulated a small pile of dirty ones, I soak them in hot water with OxyClean, then wash in hot water. A little massage of the pads before washing while they are in the soak bucket ensures that all makeup washes out. They can be air or machine dried on low heat. Overall, I would say that they perform better than disposable products, are not difficult to care for, and allow you to send less waste to the landfill.

So soft and a great size. Love the quality and the bag that comes with it for washing!

It’s a simple cotton round. I use it to apply toner and such to my face. I don’t use it as a makeup remover so it works great for what I need.

I bought these with zero expectations. I use less product and get more off of my face with these versus a traditional cotton pad.

These rounds are especially soft, and the double layer renders them especially cushy. For me, the feel is good enough for me to work around the sliding that happens if I don't hold it just right. I would have rated "effectiveness" as five stars except for the need to adjust my hold to avoid the double layers rolling.

The cotton is incredibly soft! It is easily cleaned when I throw it in the washing machine with other items, no matter how drenched in makeup it is. The only drawback is that the bag it comes with is too small to use when putting them in the washing machine, I don’t think it’s big enough to let them move around enough to get clean. But I already have a set of reusable laundry bags so this isn’t an issue for me.

Very soft, glad there is a sustainable option for toner!

These are very soft and glad to not be so wasteful (compared to disposable makeup wipes). After I used them I let them soak in some oxiclean before putting them in the washing machine. Makeup came out. The pic included is after washing them. They have a pink tint because I washed them with some items with color, but I like how it turned out. Would definitely recommend these!

They are soft but the two pieces sewn together just move around. it’s hard to get a good swiping motion.

I love how soft these are and that they are washable. They do leave little bits of white fuzz on my face sometimes. I wish there was a small stitch in the center because when I’m wiping them across my face, the fabric tries to roll and doesn’t keep flat. I think a simple small stitch in the center would stop that. Over all I like them and will keep using them.

I’ve had no issue with these. They are soft and work well. I use them for toner and astringents. Also to clean my piercings. They are great for the price. I toss them in the washer and let them air dry :)

Love these! I used to buy makeup wipes over and over… not only do I save money and constant trips to buy more wipes, but these are so soft, durable, and easy to throw in the wash. I’ve used them (both sides) every day for months and they still feel brand new. The baggy they come with felt a bit small for throwing them in the wash because they’re too tightly packed in, but I use a bigger mesh bag I have and they come out like new every time!

These are amazing. They are softer than regular cotton rounds and the wash up perfectly.
