I think they are really for ages 2+ because they have plastic piece that younger ones might chew on and would damage how to hold them together. But this toy is great motor skills and I would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently got the Melissa & Doug Blockables Snap and Play Mix and Match set (56 pieces), and honestly, it’s been such a fun and engaging toy for our little one! The pieces are colorful, sturdy, and so cleverly designed. Kids can make little tractors, farm animals, and all sorts of cute combinations. It’s amazing to watch our 2-year-old explore the possibilities, even if he needs a bit of help snapping some of the parts together. What I really love about this toy is that it’s not just entertaining. It’s also great for developing physical (fine motor), cognitive (creativity and problem solving), and even social skills when playing together. It’s open-ended play done right. That said, we’re currently using it only under supervision. Some of the pieces are small enough that we just feel more comfortable being around to make sure nothing goes in the mouth. Personally, I think it’s perfect for kids around 2.5 years and up, when they begin to better understand that toys aren’t for chewing. Overall, this is an amazing product that sparks creativity and imagination. We’re super happy with it, and it’s already a favorite in our toy rotation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This block set is nothing short of perfect!! Wooden, easy to grip the pieces and pull the connector pieces out… even for and esp for little hands! There isn’t a right way to play with this, meaning you could do any combination and it would be cute or at least funny! A cow body with a pig head? Well, YEAH! Why not? This is sooooo fun!!! My 2 and 3 year olds haven’t stopped playing with it!!! The assembly is sooo easy and I feel like this is very safe but you, of course will need to keep an eye on it due to the size of the connection pieces. I wouldn’t say they’re unsafe by any means, but kids will be kids and they might put them in their mouths. Overall, this set is absolutely precious and you will love this! Melissa and doug did not disappoint with this set!

The possibilities are endless! The set is made of high quality wood with smooth rounded edges and an easy to assemble but challenging ti expand young minds! The storage box has a farm scene also used for play. It has a strong magnet to secure closure and a convenient handle for carrying. The set is very durable, I expected it to last many years! I will definitely add more sets!

The blocks are just the right size for little hands to hold onto and put together with wheels and snap on pieces . A safe snap and play, mix or match block building farm set that the kids love. Clean up is a breeze, they just put them in the box which Velcros shut. It also has a nice carrying handle so they can take it anywhere.
